nightlight sighed. "let me show you, daisytoes." she said. she led the way to the river. "they can't see us, don't worry." she said. "silentstream is hurt, but she'll live. it's her destiny." she said, showing where the dog had left silentstream hurt, but not dying. darkpelt wasn't attacked by the dog... but fernstar..." she sighed, a tear running down her face. "fernstar will be joining us very soon. her last life is about to be lost." the starry she-cat pointed with her front paw to the scene, where darkpelt had pulled fernstar out of the river. darkpelt's tail was docked now. "The beast is dead, but Crowheart, or bloodwolf, as you know him now, pulled Darkpelt back from saving fernstar. " she tiptoed closer to the scene, gently brushing her pelt past her brothers, to show darkpelt she was there. "darkpelt loved fernstar. but deep down, in his heart, he knows the whole of starclan will be here to collect her tonight."

darkpelt felt a pelt brush past him, and a slight scent hung on the breeze. he recognised it as his sisters. he remembered her with a sigh. he tried again to wake fernstar.

She stopped behing the smaller cat, looking at him then the forest above them. Cold wind ruffled her skinny pelt, making her bones hurt "...You're right, It's like forest is in fear..." she meowed taking a deep breath of the forest wind. Flicking he ears she could hear silently yowlings to the wind, but she wasen't sure "Maybe better to stay here" she said smilling at the tom.

She was still bitting the dogs shoulder when it desiced to run somewhere. Her grips loose onto the dogs pelt and she fall for the ground, landing on her back into the rocks "ouch" she yowled,before passing out . Few moment she just layed there, when the cold wind awakened her "...what, where is the dog?" she meowed still little dizzy, spiining abck to her belly, she noticed Daisytoes laying the not too far for her "Daisytoes Are you alright? Daisy...?" she meowed running toward the she-cat, her eyes frozen "No..." she whispered.

The noises outside make him awaken "Of come on..." he murmured angstly and tired. He was beeing so tired all the time, that it almost make him angry. Stooding up he wondered if he was going to be sick 'maybe better to go ask Threeleg if he know something' he wondered and make his way to the medicine cats den "Hello Threeleg...Goldenpaw?" he meowed trying to be gently, but noticed they wasen't in the den, so he sit up to wait.

She was into the nursery and looked at the Moonflower "So I will get Threeleg now, right?" she said to her, but didn't wait for a answer, instead she run to the threelegged tom "Threeleg....Moonflower just.....got her kit" she said to him..

His ears flattered when heared the Moonflowers pain yowls "Mom, something is wrong with her? mom we need Threeleg" he meowed in shocked.

The fae felt her body going numb with the cold as Darkpelt heaved her out of the river. "D-Dar.." Getting the words out was a great effort, one she didn't have the strength for. The leader's breathing was shallow, and she could feel every ounce of strength she had within her slowly leave her body. "T-Ta.. C-Camp. I need to... S-See them." Fernstar's voice shook with every word as she begged Darkpelt to take her back to camp.

The tom turned as Yellowflower rushed across, seemingly worried. His eyes widened at her news, and he flicked his tail to Goldenpaw. "Come on, she will need our help." The medicine cat followed the other queen across to the nursery, speeding across camp and leaving the other apprentices alone. "M-Moonflower!" He gasped as he caught his breath, standing in the entrance to the nursery. "Are you alright? We're here." Threeleg asked, nearing the queen to aid her.

Juniperfrost smiled and a purr escaped her throat. "Thank you Blueheart. Although I would like them to know who their real father is, I'm sure they will see you as a great step-father." The queen returned his lick and smiled brightly. "I-I really care about you,"

"Yeah!" For once the stubborn apprentice agreed with the grumpy medicine cat. "Threeleg knows some basic hunting and fighting, especially since he had a few moons of apprentice training before his accident." Sparrowpaw reassured his friend. "Don't worry, you'll be a warrior with us!"

As Darkcloud headed to leave, he turned back to Rosedust. "We will need to work hard if we are to gain the trust of some of Fernstar's warriors. They have every right to be cautious, but we need to show them that we are thankful for everything they have done for us."

But... she turned her gaze to Nightlight again. "Fernstar... but Blueheart was only just recently appointed deputy... Cloverclan has lost so much. Can they stand more..?"

She sat next to the fallen warrior, she didn't know theshe-cat too well, but she did know that she was a all way sweet, caring cat. Lowering her head dow, she touched the she-cat to her nose "I am sorry Daisytoes...If I was just bit more careful, you could still be a life..." she meowed sadly. Opening her eyes she realised that she was forgot something "...Fernstar?" she yowled in shock, turning around to the way where the dogs smell was still fresh "...Please be safe, both of you" she meowed, not wanting to leave the Daisytoes body there, she needs to bring her to the camp.

She walked behing the medicine cat and his apprentice, she was little worry to the Moonflower. She looked well when she left the nursery to tell Threeleg, but who enevr knows. She sat down next to her son Starling, which peeped at the nursery.

Dustpaw gave a slight giggle at Sparrowpaw "I dont usually see you this serious" He teased before the medecine cat was called to help in the nursery "I hope the kits are fine, we cant afford anyone dying now after Bramblewhisker and Foxstripe" He mewed worried that one of the kits was very ill. He glanced at Sparrowpaw remembering that Bramblewisker had been his mentor, they had both lost their mentor that day. He quickly shook his head wanting to forget all about that day, he remembered how sad everyone had been. Dutpaw would never like to experience that again.

Otterkit looked at Starling as he left. When his tail slipped through the nursery den he yet again looked at his siblings. Otterkit charged his back legs before he pounced in between them "I Otter... Otterstream dont want to see anyone get hurt, the members of Waveclan and Silverclan could make peace, and form one big clan that works together" He suggested to them his tail high up proud of the warrior name he had come up with for himself.

Florian was abruptly woken up by a dark cat entering his teporary home. He hissed in suprise but he didn't even have time to reply before the cat had dissapeared again "Stray too close to what?" He meowed to himself emerging from his stump. The air felt so tense this morning. Florian could feel a scent he recognised in hte air, usually he felt it when the twolegs outside walked past with the creatures in a leash. He didn't know what they were called but they used to make a huge fuss when they saw him through the window. "Stupid creatures" Florian huffed wondering why the dark cat was so worried, the ones he had seen had always been stuck by the leash with their human. The big ones scared him a little but there were mostly only tiny ones that didn't seem too harming at all.

nightlight looked at the starry daisytoes by her. "it is cloverclan's destiny. their fate. blueheart will be a good leader. " she said. "come on. I must bring you to starclan's territories now."

moonflower looked up. "i'm... ok. but my kit... he's..." she flicked her tail towards her only kit. "he's so much like his father yet so much not..."

goldenpaw quickly followed threeleg - he seemed worried about the kit. when he saw ashkit, he almost yelled with shock. I know who the father is. he thought. it could only be him.

Darkpelt gently picked fernstar's body up, and hauled her onto his shoulders. "it's ok, fernstar. I've got you. threeleg and goldenpaw... they'll help you. they have to." he went to camp as quickly as he could. he saw silentstream. "don't worry about the dog. it's gone." he reassured her.

Her heart wrenched when she saw Fernstar's body strung across Darkpelt's shoulders. She nodded, turning to follow Nightlight. "Thank you, for everything Fernstar..." she whispered.
