I think the only distinction the map can tell, is normal area, forest area and water area. Anything more specific would be hellish for the programmers since it would have to work worldwide.

All 3 of the dittos I've caught have been on random streets nowhere near anything significant.

I went out for a walk this evening and hatched my 5k egg. It was a Pichu! :3

I finally have enough candies to evolve a Pikachu... The question is, do I evolve my highest CP Santa Pikachu with very low IVs or do I evolve my highest CP normal Pikachu with very high IVs? There is about a 100 CP difference and the Santa Pikachu is the highest, so I guess that's not much, but what do I want more... Raichu or Raiclause...

Also... Two more candies to go for my Bulbasaur > Venusaur evolution.

I'd wait for the end of the event and see if you get more Santa Pikachus! Maybe you'll get a better one! c: If not, I'd just keep both and evolve the higher IV and then try to evolve the santa one next!

Ooh. I just logged in yesterday and one of my catches turned into a ditto.Nice~
I also saw pikachus with the santa hats on.
I didn't bother tracking them down though.

Waiting until the end of the event sounds like a good plan. If I'm lucky I'll catch a high CP Santa Pikachu with high IVs.

I caught a random Zubat the other day and it turned into a Ditto! That was a nice surprise.
