I remember seeing someone ask about this a while ago, apparently in the early days of CS, pet sizes would vary as a way to make them more distinct. When items were added, the sizes were standardized so items would fit better.

So if you wanted to dress up your BEG, the items wouldn't fit 100% correctly?

So if you wanted to dress up your BEG, the items wouldn't fit 100% correctly?

Yep! For example, I have a July PPS, which is also a little smaller than most pets, and you can see that the pants on the current dressup don't quite fit.

I believe it was a joke a staff member (Tess maybe?) played with some list pets. And then, the joke just stuck.
