Julia sighed, "Goodbye Ruby, Take care of Sam for me," She pet her horse one last time, it neighed- its eyes filled with sadness. "I know girl," She wiped her eyes, before looking over to sam, He gave her a comforting smile. Tears ran from her face, before hugging him, "I'll miss you." He hugged her back, "I'll miss you too, Julia." After a long embrace and another goodbye, she hopped back into the taxi and toward the airport- all of her luggage with her.

Her eyes still held some sadness, but now filled with new awe and excitement- but hinted with nervousness; as she looked outside the jet window. I wonder when he got my letter. wait, Did I put the date I was flying over on it! I hope so. She shrugged, If not, I guess it would be a surprise. She continued to look in awe at the snowy fields. the jet zoomed over. She could tell they were almost there. She started to get herself mentally prepared to what she would tell him. The jet started to head down onto a plane stop- in the sky she could see a mass amount of cabins- where she needed to go. Soon they landed, and she got all fo her stuff and exited the jet. She looked around for a taxi, seeing they could get her there.

Julia arrived to the cabins- the taxi driver already knew of her father- apparently he was in the paper for winning a race yesterday. "Thank you sir." She thanked the diver, taking all of her luggage out of the trunk and looking around. She didnt really know what cabin he was in, so she just looked around a bit, slightly embarrassed where to go. Not to mention she was freezeing- she was not used to such cold temputures at all! "Damn, no one is awake yet." It was just getting to be morning.

Caleb woke at the sound of a cab, he blinked and got up, careful not to disturb the dogs. He smiled softly when he saw his daughter with Cedar, "Julia, you arrived early." he smiled at her happily as he walked over. He gave her a hug, glad she was here, it had been too long, and so much had happened, he'd missed her, "I missed you sweatheart." he said softly, kissing the top of her head, glad she was here, but he hated the reason for it.

Ballad woke when he heard a car, he stood and barked at it, before he saw someone get out. He watched curiously before his tail began wagging and he bounded over to his master and happily followed him over to Julia. He began huffing at her hands, searching for treats as his tail wagged rapidly, she smelt odd, and he wasn't sure what the smell was. So he was now investigating her excitedly, like he did with every new person.

After she had said goodnight to Elliot she had went in to sleep in the warmth of the cabin, plus she wanted to see Logan, she had to admit, she was being weak. She was curled up by the fireplace, happily asleep until Caleb woke her up by moving. She blinked a few times and looked around, yawning happily as she slowly stood, stretching out as she did so. She looked around for Logan and Alicide curiously, wondering where they were.

Julia looked over to see her dad, tears conering her eyes. She hugged him back, "I've missed you so much! You have no idea." She hugged him tightly, before pulling away to look down to the dog investigating her with exitement. "Whos this?" She asked with a small laugh, petting the dog on the head with a smile. "I've only bought things I've needed. I didn't bring furniture or anything- I didn't think I'd need it."

(Ahhh i ment Adsila, but i just cut it out of my last post so ;3;)

Caleb smiled at her softly, "It's Ballad, he's one of my middles." he said with a smile as he gently wiped at the tears that threatened to fall. He smiled as he watched Ballad happily lick her face, "He's one of my friendliest dogs, he loves everyone." he told her happily as he watched. He sighed, "It has been a tough stretch, one of my other dogs was injured, and my lead was killed.' he said softly, "Please stay away from the chained up dog, she is the one who killed him." he told her. "And you don't need anything my lovely girl, you'll live with me."

Julia laughed as Ballad licked her face, "Well, I'm sure he is! Goodboy," She pet him a little more before looking to celab with concern- "Wow, Im sorry about your lead. Im sure you can make up for him somehow though." She looked around, "That one over there?" She asked, looking at the large dog closely. "She looks upset." She frowned. "You know. If you don't treat animals the way they want to be treated- they will just get worse. I'm sure with practice I could train her to be good." She looked to Ballad, "What do you think?" She smiled, putting him between the ears. "I can't wait to move in, mind helping me with my bags?" She asked, there were about three suitcases carrying everything.

Kandy heard a cab nearing the cabin and she opened an eye, yawning. She blinked twice and just stared at the forest beyond the cabin. Wonder what that sound was? She thought while getting up and stretching her slim body. Kandy trotted around the corner and saw one of the mushers and an unfamiliar person, and dog. She slowly made her way to them, sniffing the girl then turning to Ballad to look at him. Another unknown dog I don't know, I'll say hi and ask if he knows her. "Hi, I'm Kandy, the new sled dog. Um... do you know who she is?" She asked her snout pointing to the girl.

Sunlight seeped through the window, as the colors of dawn broke the darkness of the sky. Heather slowly opened her eyes, reaching over for her alarm clock, to see what time it was. Her hand rested on something slightly cold, and metal. She picked up the strange object, and sat up in bed. She stared at it for a moment, coming to realization that it was a small box of some kind. "Now where did this come from?" She mused, mildly alarmed about finding this in her cabin. "How strange." She set it back down on the nightstand, before hopping out of bed and slipping her slippers on. She smiled at the sleeping dogs all around the cozy house, starting to hum a small tune, as she began making hot chocolate. After that, she started pouring food into bowls, for the dogs. A few minutes later she was dressed, and examining the metal box again, tracing the designs on the lid with her finger. She slowly opened it, peering inside. Her eyes widened at the treasures the box contained. They were valuable, no doubt of it. Diamonds, gold, jewelry. She set it down on her bed, still wondering where it came from. And how did it get inside? Seeing Cedar paw at the door, she quickly went over and opened it for him, then returned to her bedside, her gaze focusing back on the shiny box. Heather shook her head, and slipped on her boots, grabbing her coat before heading out. The snow crunched with each step, as she trudged over the frosted ground. She noticed an unfamiliar young girl talking with Caleb, and approached them with her hands in her pockets. "Good morning! Who's this?" She questioned, looking at Juila, then to Caleb, a cheerful smile on her face.

Winter's eyes opened, hearing noises outside the cabin. She was on her feet in an instant, taking a moment to stretch before trotting elegantly out of the door. She frowned and cocked her head, locking her eyes on the strange girl who was talking to her owner. She immediately grew quite defensive, and headed straight over to them. Stopping right beside Caleb. She looked up at Julia with questioning eyes, wondering who in the world she was, and what she was doing here. The sight of suitcases was alarming, was she going to live with them? Winter pressed herself against her musher, unsure of how to react.

Cedar woke quite early, just before Heather did. He rose to his paws, looking down at Angelica's sleeping form. He stared at her for quite some time, not realizing he was growing even more fonder of her each day that passed, ears flicking back as he heard Heather's bed creak slightly as she got out. He had totally forgotten about the box, and wanted to chat with Adsila. He trotted to the door and pawed at it, waiting patiently until it was opened. He sprinted out into the snow, heading straight for the doghouse. He paid no attention to the girl chatting with Caleb, and came to a stop when he was a couple yards from Adsila's current home. "Adsila?" He called out cautiously, hoping he wasn't disturbing her. "I....I'd like to speak with you." The wind sifted through his light brown pelt, as he waited for an answer.

The rough slam of a car door awoke the wolfdog, her dark eyes shot open and her head rose as her optics shifted to the location of the noise. Once her blurry vision cleared her ears were erect, pointed toward the unusual human. On instinct the fae instantly stood, ears pinned back with a small growl, confused as if she was a friend. Once Caleb approached her with an overjoyed expression their relation clicked in the hybrids mind. With a sigh she sat, her injured leg in a more comfortable position as Adsila sat tall with pride, until Caleb mentioned the killing of Bullet. Once the girl looked over to Adsila the wolf froze in shock, why had she felt a deep connection? Her words were stubborn and outgoing, much like Adsila herself. She longed to be with that girl, but the wolfdogs current image wasn't very pleasing whatsoever. Her bright white pelt now knotted with dirt and a un-groomed brown appearance. Blood was spread all over from her paws to her mouth, her wounds now dried up, possibly infected but the fae took no notice. She wanted to know more about this new girl, luckily the luggage signified she was here to stay for a while, and this made Adsila overjoyed within. Once Julia placed her hand on Ballad the wolfdog shot a threatening and jealousy filled look at Ballad, which was unexpected of her. Out of nowhere a brutes scent smacked Adsila's nose, distracting her from the human female. She turned her large head to Cedar, someone she was glad came to see her. Once he asked permission to have a conversation, she nodded with a bright smile.

"Please stay away from her Julia, she isn't my dog, and she's dangerous. Please." he said as he looked at his Daughter. He smiled at her a little as she cuddled with Ballad though, only for his attention to go to Heather when she came over. "Heather, meet Julia, my daughter." he smiled at her, Julia, this is Heather, one of my fellow mushers." he said with a warm smile. He looked at Winter, "Hey sweet heart, this is Julia, she's a friend." he said as he scratched Winter's head to help her calm down, knowing she was a protective dog.

Ballad looked at her and whined at the attention happily, his tail wagged, though he whined softly when she mentioned Adsila and he pressed closer to her. He looked over when he heard Kandy and he nodded, "She's our musher's daughter." he said with a tail wag. When they kept speaking about Adsila he whined, he didn't like the female, her actions had frightened him, after all, he'd been right behind Bullet, he'd had a direct view of what had happened. So he buried his face against Julia with a huff and licked at her jacket as he stayed close. When he looked over at her again he saw the look she gave him and he moved closer to Julia for safety.
