Leafstar was lost in thought. She blinked when she thought she heard the familiar call of her deputy. She shook her head, she was imagining things. Then she heard it again. She blinked again, her eyes growing wide as Nightwhisper burst into the camp. She stood still for several moments before she finally kept down in the clearing to meet him.

Ravenpaw was licking up the last bits of his mouse when a familiar scent wafted towards him. He identified the scent a split second before the deputy burst into camp.

Nightwhisper regained his composure, panting softly from the running and the adrenaline. He was extremely glad the badger had gone away just in time. "Apologies for my absence.. Um. How are patrols? And.. Where is everyone?" He could see that the camp looked emptier.

Sparkpelt's ears dropped as he continued walking along. He was haunted by his feelings of misery as he continued to miss his clan. They were all he had.. And he didn't even know how long he had been without them. "I wonder if Ravenpaw even misses me.. Or Bluesoul.."

Heartclaw sat, hunched over in the apprentices' den as he prodded Lightpaw. He had tried calling to wake her a few times but had given up. There was a commotion in the clearing and he was unsure of what was happening, but he figured it'd be better to deal with it after he woke his apprentice up, that way he wouldn't have to explain anything to her about what happen. "Lightpaw," he hissed quietly.

Fallstorm chewing on the end of a stick in hopes of making it sharp enough to stab into the ground. The white and black tom hadn't spent much time thinking on the prophecy, nor had he talked with Pantherleaf much about it. In fact, Pantherleaf seemed to be avoiding him recently and he had no idea of why.

Sunpaw was curled up in her nest sleeping quietly. The past few training days had tired her out. They'd focused strictly on battle training and attempts at badger attacks had failed miserably.

Thistlepaw sat a near the freshkill pile, cleaning his paws and smoothing out his ruffled fur, as he waited for his mentor to awake. His ears flicked up in awareness and a cat burst into camp.

[*~Pantherleaf~*]

Lightpaw groaned and put her paw over her head as something nudged her. As the nudging persisted, she grew increasingly annoyed. Her eyes flew open when her mentor hissed in her ear. "H-heartclaw!" She stuttered, scrambling to her paws, her muscles screaming in protest.

Leafstar frowned. "Nightwhisper, you've been gone for several sunrises. Go and get yourself checked out in the med den and I will explain everything."

Nightwhisper flicked his ears in confusion, a chill running through his fur at the thought of being gone for days on end. "Y-You mean I've been out there for a while..?" He shook his head slightly, sitting on his haunches as he tried to process this.

Sparkpelt had gotten lost by now, the trees blurring together and his visibility starting to fade as the sunlight did. He could see the sun setting and realized he had been going in the wrong direction! He remembered his camp was in the opposite direction, towards the fading light. He turned around and started back, eventually hitting Leafclan's scent markers.

Leafstar pricked her ears. "Out where? Where did you wake up?"

Bluesoul stirred as the sound of cats talking reached her ears. She yawned and looked down at her sleeping kit. She worried about him. Since his father had disappeared, Thunderkit had been working to be the strongest warrior possible. He thought that if he could get strong, then he could find Sparkpelt and bring him home.

Heartclaw sighed and slowly backed out of the den. "Something's going on in the clearing. I didn't want to explain it to you later so I woke you up."

[*~Pantherleaf~*]

"Oh ok." Lightpaw gave her shoulders and quick lick before following her mentor out of the apprentice's den.

Heartclaw backed rather awkwardly out of the apprentices' den, tripping over his paws a few times. Once he was back in the clearing, he smoothed down his coat slightly before padding over to where clanmates were gathered.
