aaaaaah speaking of the advent, i gotta get this codedrop and day 18 walker before the hour's up. cause if you've ever been around for dec. 18th you'd know that the site slows down SO BAD from everyone and their mother trying to adopt the rereleases. if i wait that long, i won't be able to post at all for all the lag XD

I know what you mean, but I'm feeling selfish with this one... say, minette., could I make a litter reserved for people who haven't gotten an asteria yet, for after the advent is over?? Or would all litters just be by chance, everyone gets what they get?

@munch as an artist you can make as many litters as you want. however i will be the one to decide when we have a 'non-owners' litter, which we wont have for a while unless asteria walkers gets a huge spike in popularity. having a non-owners litter right now (or soon after the event) wouldn't be good for the adoption center. going a whole week where we limit who can and can't adopt will cause people who aren't as invested yet (but have a walker already) to loose interest in the species. and to be honest, there aren't that many people who haven't gotten one yet. i can probably count on one hand the amount of users who have lost more than one round and still haven't gotten a walker yet. and if you think about it, only 20-40 people try for an asteria walker each round; that's really not a lot, so imagine how low that number would go if i said everyone who hasn't gotten a walker yet couldn't try for a whole week. as much as i try to avoid admitting it, asteria walkers' popularity is the one thing that will really keep it going, so that's where i focus most of my time trying to drive my species towards. i'm not saying the non-owners litter is a bad idea, and we'll probably do that sometime in the future, but for now it really wouldn't be good for asteria walkers as a whole.
but, on that note, we will be having something similar for advent days twenty-one through twenty-five. all those pikits will be in a 'set', and if you get one out of that set (say you get it on the twenty-second) then you wouldn't be allowed to get another one from that set.

@satyn aaaah i'm sorry ;u; but it's got to be that way if i want to keep asteria walkers alive. hope you understand <3 and yes, i'm very excited to release the set c: it's not an uncommon thing to see in an advent, so i think everyone will either guess what it is before i release it, or immediately recognize it.
