Edit: Shoot me, I my eyes (or bad internet) switched the dates on their offered pets.
The horse is a re-release, though from what year I'm not certain; I would look, but I'm on mobile. Either way, I wouldn't take it. Horses have very low demand.

The horse is from late 09 if i am not mistaken, so it's unfair to them as the cat store pets are not worth a late 09 rare yet. If you like the horse (and want to keep it) i'd go for it. Otherwise horses are hard to trade off (:

I'd say it's a nice offer. From what i have seen the store cat can go for a mid advent while the malk dragon usually onlyfetches a few 09 rares. So rarity wise unfair to the malk as the store pet is not worth a 09 rare yet, but demand is up to you and how you value the store cat (:
