How old must your account be to adopt on December 18? I think I should be able to, but I'm just curious c:

You should be fine. I'm hearing a lot of talk about how it has to be 3 months or older while others are saying you can't adopt if you join today or tomorrow.

what would be the best to offer for the new URs??

Considering it's demand is spiked the minute it's released i would say a Non level. Depending on what we have as new URs.

I think the demand of the new URs would also depend on its lineart/species, etc.

That is considered cheating so yes you can get banned. Any form of help from a friend is considered having 2 accounts.

To people complaining about join date limitations:

Please consider that the staff do everything within good reason, and while I personally do feel that three months is a little exessive, I can understand why it has been done like that. While I feel bad for everyone who genuinely joined within the limits, just remember, December 18th happens every year, so if you can't adopt this year, you can be all the more excited for next year. Besides, we don't know for sure yet that the limit is three months, so who knows.

Being a user who joined in 2012, I would hate it if they took join date limits out all together, mainly because it would mean cheaters, even though a lot would be caught, would be adopting bunches of really rare pets and lowering the rarity. I worked hard for my account, even if my two best pets were gotten through luck and gifts. So I'd hate to see the effort of me, and every other long time player, to be put to waste through cheaters.

Also, I was a part of the 4588 users who adopted at rollover last year, which is midnight in my timezone, and the lag, was absolutely horrendous.

actually the rares list guide factors in rarity AND demand - the rarest of all pets are the three omgsr zebra - the plains zebra is the rarest pet on the site link here - also explains dec 18th

If I can't adopt I am going to be heartbroken. It os a stupid rule, as I joined mid October. Don't they realize that there are small kinds in here that will literally cry and scream if they can't adopt pets that they have been waiting for for so long? I am not going to do that, yet this is kind of just my rant post. I think that you would be able to tell if someone just made and account to cheat or not by looking at the posts they have made, their pets, and other things to show that the account is active. It's just makes me so frustrated that people, me being one of them, mya not be able to have a chance to adopt just because we didn't learn about the site in time.

you also have to look at CS point of view. Players do cheat to get more pets, regardless if its december 18th or not, the only difference is, december 18th has the ability to release older more valuable pets like the UR Tiger Dog, Sunback etc.. and new URs, the restrictions are in place to prevent players from creating accounts and adopting pets - new accounts spike as soon as rollover hits, players thinking they can adopt pets when they cannot

I honestly dont know why one would kick/cry/scream if they cant adopt on december 18th, you have other december 18th to look forward too, not to mention you can always contact staff/tess/nick and ask what the cut off date is, tho they may not indicate this to prevent players from creating accounts before hand

also you cant go by number of posts one has, or their pets, or if its active or not

there are ways that nick and tess knows if you are cheating or not

if you mean, they log into your account to adopt the pets, its based on YOUR account, so if your account was created within the restrictions of not being able to adopt, they wont be able to adopt for you

if they are inactive and are adopting their pets on dec 18th to give them to you, thats considered multi accounting since they are not qactive and you are the one benefitting from the adoptions

I'm like 90 percent sure it's not three months. Last year, my friend joined on December 9th and could adopt. I believe sometimes it's people who joined on the 17th and 18, other times just the 18th.

Last year I definitely remember a staff member saying your account had to be 3months old, at least.

Hello! I had a question - I heard of pets called "off account" pets - How many "off account pets" will you be able to get? *(I know the adoption limit for normal account is 3)
