Leafstar padded to the entrance of her den as the green-leaf morning sun shone into the camp. She was almost fully recovered from the mild concussion she had received the badger fight a few days ago. She flicked her tail as she realized that for just a moment she had forgotten the troubles her clan was facing. She had yet to decide on a temporary deputy. Her clan needed her now more than ever and they also needed a deputy.

Lightningpaw lay curled up in her best as far away from the other apprentices as possible. She had begun to warm up to the clan and feel braver as Nightwhisper's apprentice, but since he disappeared, she felt as if the clan no longer trusted her and she had begun to distance herself from them once again.

Lightpaw was in a deep sleep. She had been working hard that past few days and her body was feeling it, as it was no longer used to activity.

Ravenpaw had just woken up and was grooming his fur smooth.

(Aa Nightttt)

The dark brown tom felt as though he was laying down, trying to decipher where he was. It was like his thoughts had been gone for so long that he had a hard time getting them back. Where am I..? Who am I...??

Nightwhisper. His name resurfaced. And then his sparse memories. Wait, where was the clan? And Leafstar? The deputy raised his head from wherever he was and recognized some scents around him. Squirrel. Pine. Fresh water. Was he in Leafclan territory? His vision was clearing as he became more aware, causing him to look around even more. "Leafstar...?" This wasn't his clan territory. It was the mid ground between their camp and their commune with Starclan, the falls. It was about a half a day's journey back. "What was I doing here?"

Sparkpelt was in the same sort of situation, except he was even farther away from home. His ginger fur was buffeted by high winds as he came around again. "Huh?" The smaller male picked his head up from his place on the ground, finding himself in a moor-like environment somewhere outside of the territory. "What??"

Leafstar watched as the rest of the clan began waking up and emerging from the dens. The clearing seemed so much bigger with fewer cats to fill it. Leafstar's green eyes flicked from warrior to warrior. Which warrior would make a good deputy in these hard times?

After finishing smoothing down his sleek black fur, Ravenpaw stretched and padded into the clearing, scenting the air for his mentor, wondering if she was awake yet. He had grown fond of his new mentor.

Nightwhisper had actually never felt better, he realized, at least physically. He felt like he had slept for a moon, and was now ready to sprint all the way back to camp. But he was troubled by why he was even here and he still had no idea what he had been doing before he woke up. How long was he asleep for? His sturdy legs supported lithe frame as he stood, shaking some dust from his pelt. "Alright.. Time to go back, then.."

Sparkpelt jumped up, wanting to know where he was immediately. "WHERE AM I??" He bristled in irritation as he tried to find some type of familiarity within the scenery. The only thing that sparked a little interest was some distant crooked tree stump that he felt he had seen before. "Hmm." He started for the stump slowly, wary of his position on the open terrain.

Ravenpaw padded over to the freshkill pile. The pile was low, not because of lack of prey on the forest, but because of lack of cats to hunt. Ravenpaw selected a small mouse for himself, then padded over to a stump to eat it.

Lightpaw blinked open her eyes. She sat up, wincing. Her muscles screamed in protest as she moved them. Maybe she was working a little too hard. She shook the thought out of her head and began smoothing out her bed fur.

Nightwhisper made it back to clan territory in record time, considering travelling alone was much faster than with a group. He padded by a pile of dirt, and then smelled something dangerous. It was a badger. The wind was blowing away from him so there was no way he would've been able to catch the scent unless he was right on top of it. It smelled fresh, but he prayed to Starclan that the animal was not home..

Sparkpelt ran across the moor towards the landmark, realizing he had seen it when he had went to a Gathering one night. It was right at the edge of clan territory, but it was still quite a ways from Leafclan's scent marks. He didn't stop for a second to ponder why he was in the moor or where he was really going, he just kept walking.

(It can be... Lol XD Eclipse hasn't been on for a while, so that means no Snowpelt. )

Lightpaw padded stiffly out of the den and glanced around at the clearing. She was surprised that she hadn't slept longer.

Nightwhisper sighed in relief when he passed the den, padding away swiftly. He broke out into a run when he realized he was closer to camp than he thought. "Leafstar??" He dodged trees and skidded through dirt, a feeling of joy coursing through him. "I'm back!" He still had the sense that he had been missing for a while but had no idea why.

Sparkpelt picked his way through thorny grasses and sharp stones, making it to the patch of forest that was bordering a thunderpath. He looked across carefully and shot forward to enter into the bigger treeline, panting softly in relief when it was over. "Jeez... Wonder if Ravenpaw would've made that one!" He felt a wave of misery when he realized he was really without his clan at the moment.
