there isnt a limit that I am aware of BUT your mailbox will get full and you have to delete some or it auto deletes the oldest messages

whenever someone sends me a trade and i say thank you, it says in the corner of the little message box "messages left: 8"?

On CS that happens. FR messages only delete if you manually delete them. There's no space limitations. : )

The Crossroads, right? Yeah, you only get a certain amount of messages per CR trade so it's best to work things out via PM before sending a CR.
