"We're on a main road right now," She stopped and looked at the stars then continued. "If we go this way we should reach a town by tomorrow." Angel said, pointing to the right of where they were standing.

[Inspector_Javert]

"Wait, so we're going to walk all the way?"
His eyes widened slightly at this thought. He was still gripping his sword tightly in one hand, fiddling with the hilt in an almost anxious manner.
"That's a long way isn't it? Plus we have to walk all night... there might be monsters out there"

[s o r r o w s]

"True, but there are monsters everywhere. Also we have weapons for a reason." She said, starting to walk, it may take all night but she'd rather do that then sleep in the wide open.

[Inspector_Javert]

"I guess you're right"
He mumbled, hesitating for a moment before jogging to catch up with her. He walked in silence for a long time, clearly lost in deep thought. After a moment he mumbled something, before looking up and smiling sheepishly, then repeating himself.
"Thanks for saving me back there"
He said softly.
"I've never actually... fought a real monster. They're a lot stronger than I thought they would be"
His eyes were filled with a soft, warming light; it was strange. The colour of his eyes always seemed to be changing. Dancing like the flames of a fire. They had a life and soul of their own.

Angel smiled at him, "No problem. You've never fought a real monster before?" She asked, she has fought a good amount. Angel was always up for a quest, so she was known to either be in camp training or out of camp on a quest. She liked this guy, he seemed like he would end up being a nice friend in the end. That's if we live. She reminded herself, frowning as she sighed and continued to look at her map. She wished she had some kind of beast to ride on, she always found Pegasi interesting and wanted to befriend or own one at least once in her life. The girl had dreamed of a pure white one, like how the story went.

[Inspector_Javert]

"Not at all"
He admitted, laughing softly and raising a hand to rub the back of his neck. He seemed embarressed by this fact, looking down at his feet as he spoke - his hair falling over his strange eyes.
"I've not left camp - and I like to fight, but I don't like hurting things. Monsters feel like people to me... I just... I don't like the idea of hurting them. Some of them are our friends after all"
He looked back up at her, smiling softly.

((Lol yep, but sadly I have to go to bed soon, school tomorrow))

Angel shook her head, "That's because they could of been humans, instead they aren't." Her voice was sad as she walked next to him. "So why don't you leave camp?" The girl said, looking at him as they started to get closer to the forest. She folded up her map and stuck it in her pocket, happy to do so.

(I literally just woke up lol)

"Because when I do, it means I have to come across monsters and maybe hurt them"
He responded softly.
"Plus, I sometimes get these... weird voices in my head. And they scare me. I feel safe in camp - something stops the voices talking and makes it easier to concentrate on my surroundings. Chiron said it was something to do with my mom - the voices that is. That it's her magic whispering to me"

((o; that sucks, but I usually stay up late so I think we'll be fine with posts done))

"That's pretty nuts. But not too nuts for Demigod standards. After all, we're not normal." She said, patting his shoulder. Angel looked at the stars, happy that they were out. "So what's your favorite creature?" The girl asked, trying to just get to know her new Partner in Crime.

His smile faltered for a moment when she called him nuts, but then returned a moment later. His eyes narrowed as he thought about her question. Debating in his mind as to which creature was his favourite. He had so many. He loved the pegasi and the unicorns, but he also loved the dragons and the ursa too. He drew in a deep breath before making his mind up.
"Capricorns"
He responded.
