She nodded slowly. "But isn't he in his camp? I wouldn't want you to get in trouble...maybe the daddy will feed the baby owls." Suddenly Sunbeam froze, remembering the male owl she had killed a few nights ago. Oh no, what if that was their daddy? She felt so guilty. "Ch-Chell? Did you see the daddy owl?" She asked.

Her ears drooped, and she nodded. "How will the owlets get fed without parents? This is all my fault." She heaved a great sigh. "Can you smell him?" She sniffed the air, trying to catch the scent of the male jackal.

She scampered after Chell. "I think I smell jackals! This way!" She whispered, marching towards the scent. Soon coming up on a hill, with a tall male jackal standing on top, guarding. His pack was facing them though, and if they ducked, he wouldn't even noticed them. "Stay low, I think we're almost to their camp." Sunbeam told Chell in a hushed voice, creeping quietly across the ground.

Sunbeam frowned. "I'm guessing we'll just walk in?" She whispered in reply, turning around the hill. Several dens came into view, and the biggest one was at the end. Most likely belonging to the Alpha. "We're here. Go find his den. I'll wait by this bush." She scooted behind the plant, hiding herself.

(His den is the second biggest one, on the end next to the Alpha's)

chell nods and begans to walk to the dens and whispering brendans name
