***The Last Stand***

The city was quiet, all cities are quiet now. But this one, once called Demons Haven, had been a save haven from well... Demons for longer than the others. At first, it was just the dead coming back to life and terrorizing those who were still living, but that was just the beginning. And it just got worse from there, these demons, or zombies, began to mutate. Some would grow extra limbs, arms, legs, and sometimes, an extra head. Earth no longer exists, it a living hell now. But there are people still living in this hell they used to call home. They are fighting for their survival, some are ready to take on whatever the world throws at them, while some are not so ready.
The world has changed rapidly over the last few years, but now, something new is coming and going to hit hard. Will everyone left be ready for when this unknown force strikes?

The two figures lended against a building, their breathing was hard and fast. "Do you think it's still following us?" The darker figure whispered. The other quick glanced around the corner of the building, "I don't know, I didn't see anything move." The gray figure whispered back. Suddenly, there was an explosion of dust and debris next to them, "It found us! Run!" The dark figure shouted before taking off down the deserted street with the gray figure right behind her. As the two figures stepped into the dim street lights above, a black and white dog is seen with a gray and white dog wearing harnesses and a few weapons , "Hurry Cascade! It's on our tails!" "I'm going as fast as I can Badger, you fur-head!" Cascade growls as she picks up speed and runs along side Badger and away from the unknown attacker.

}{ Zombies }{

Zombies are the dead come back to life, they are slow and clumsy after begin alive after a while, but when they new and freshly risen, they are often a little faster and stronger, but less hungry. If you are bitten by one of these rotten creatures, you will either have to amputate the body part immediately or become one of the dead.

}{ The Monarith }{

The Monarith is a fierce pack hunter. They are like a giant bear mixed with a sloth. No one is sure how this dangerous creatures came to be, they just appeared one day. They can run at surprising speeds but only for a while because of their strange arms and legs. The Monarith has the nose of a blood-hound; possibly better and can track prey for miles. These animals live in packs on flatlands and can sometimes be found in city streets.

}{ The Ridge-tooth }{

The ridge-tooth is a herd animal that is quite interesting. They often fight for the best positions in their herd by butting head and ramming into one another much like big-horn sheep. When the Ridge-tooth is threatened, they form a square and will charge the threat, but most of the time, Ridge-toothes fun over things and kill them for fun. These creatures are not to be played with. The only way you can get one to trust you, is to train it when it is young, but it is basically impossible to get near them without getting run over and kill. Sometimes, if a Ridge-tooth is hungry enough, it will eat the dead bodies of those it has run over and killed.

}{ The Nayk Spider }{

These massive eight-legged menaces are few and far in between, meaning there are not a lot around. But that may be a good thing because these creatures are hard to take down. Cutting off a few legs won't kill a Nayk spider. They are only found in forest, and if they are seen traveling elsewhere, they are traveling to a new territory. These creatures do reach an adult-hood age and size, but even after that, most continue to grow anyways. When a male and female meet, the female will always eat the male, even if they don't have eggs together. Nayk's have grooves of webs in one section of their forest and will know if there is something in the webs. They are also hunters, so if there's nothing to do at their webs, a Nayk will go out and hunt animals.

History; Was born My family and I lived in Demons Haven for a while before the wall that surrounded the city fell down and immediately, all the loyals ran to the nearest safe-house. My family was among them, but I stayed with my Aunt Sand and the rebels that also decided to stay.
