Deep within an ice-covered land is a tall mountain dotted with evergreen trees. High up in the mountain caverns, smoke rises into the cloud-thickened sky. As you travel higher and higher, you feel as if you may be shrinking, music filling the air.

A large creature comes out to greet you, looming over your tiny form. "Hello, little voxxie!" he says joyously. "Have you been a good little one this year?"

The answer is one you cannot decide, but it does determine your fate. Will you make a new friend to bring to your colony, or will you be turned away with nothing? Only time will tell, and your efforts to keep yourself on the nice-list this Christmas season.

The 12 Days of Voxxies Event will have special voxxies released each day from December 13th to December 25th.

All contests will end January 1st, although extensions may be given for certain types of contests. Be sure to pay attention to each individual voxxie to see if it's an exception!

After nearly two weeks of waiting, the mysterious creature emerges from the mountains again. "Oh my, you're still here? You must be very eager for Christmas to arrive. Well I have good news! Our celebrations will begin here tomorrow!"

You start to protest, but he sets a gentle paw on your muzzle. "Hush now, little one. Come with me."

You are given no choice as the creature turns his back on you and starts to walk into the trees. As you hurry along to follow him, you run into his leg. "Through these rocks is the celebration circle. I must stay behind to help others on the journey, but I trust you ca make it on your own. Tomorrow the first of the special voxxies will visit us. In the mean time, why don't you try to create a gift for someone to show them your holiday spirit?"

With this suggestion you are left alone in a flurry of snowflakes. Alone again, you have no choice but to press on through the rocks in the hopes of meeting the special voxxies the creature mentioned to you.

Well, it looks like our Christmas event is about to start. Maybe we should take the creatures advice and make gifts for everyone in the community.... Oh I know! Let's do a gift art exchange!

To participate, just find a voxxie whose design you really like, and draw some gift art for its owner or future owner! For every art piece you do, you'll win a prize. This exchange will go on until January 1st, when the event ends, and you can make as many pieces as you want, for whoever you want. Just be sure to give them the art and let them know about the event as well so everyone can participate.
