Tigerpaw had gotten better and was out hunting with Oneear and Blackstripe. Blackstripe hadn't even been back into camp yet meeting up with the other two as they were leaving.

Cinderkit curled up to his mother asleep.

Featherstar was happy. atleast enough. He was happy that after so long, so much time. he was one with starclan. Leader of frostclan. he remembered his mother saying "One day you'll become the greatest. One day you'll be more then us"

Cherrypaw poked her cranium out from the apprentice den long enough to see the appointing of the new deputy. She felt Featherstar's choice was justified, believing Nightpelt will fulfill the role perfectly. The clan had officially reached rock bottom, but if one is stuck in a hole and looks up, a light will always present itself. She knew only the clan could aim for improvement from this point on. They had reached a bump on the road, yet life has a strange tendency to keep the cycle going and continuous.

Tigerpaw was still feeling very weak missing nearly everything he tried to catch. Oneear sent him back and he dragged his paws going back to the apprentice den and yawned some "hey Cherrypaw" he mumbled voice scratchy from coughing so much.

Cherrypaw had been lucky enough not to receive any serious coughs that currently threatened the clan. She was, however, fairly weak since she had not eaten much recently. The apprentice felt that if the queens and the kits were able to eat and be kept healthy, then that was all that mattered. She would spend as long as she needed out hunting, and then willingly take the smallest of her catches for herself. It was her duty to uphold the code.
The she-cat paused as she noticed a familiar face coming towards her, recognizing a fellow apprentice that had caught the outbreak. She straightened herself up, licking her paw and pressing down the tufts of fur that stuck out in places to make herself a bit decent. Grooming had been put off recently with the increased work she put in to make up for the missing-in-action warriors and apprentices.
"Hi Tigerpaw. Are you feeling any better? Is there anything I can do?" concern reflected in her voice for her clan mate, willing to go out and find a fresh piece of prey for him if need be.

Nightpelt was sitting by the pile his head down as he accidentally fell asleep by it. He peacefully slept in a sitting position. Then he started to fall and a jult of panick raised through him and he caught himself. He got up and grabbed a pice of prey before bringing them to sick cats some shared leaving a thrash, rabbit, and a vole. He stood up and walked to the two apprentices that were out. "Want to come on a hunti petrol with me?"

Tigerpaw smiled weakly "I'm ok just still really weak...and no thank you though you are really sweet" he whispered then looked up at Nigtpelt dipping his head "Oneear and Blackstripe are out too...Oneear sent me back I tried my hardest but I'm still too weak to catch anything yet... I should be able to go with a bit of sleep" he said softly and looked down disappointed with himself but knew it would be a few days before he would be like his old self but he would push himself as hard as anything.

Blackstripe had caught a rabbit and squirrel. She had to fight to not go to Talons despite knowing he was gone. She sighed softly and caught sight of Oneear and trotted up to her "hey having any luck? " Oneear smiled and nodded "Yes a vole and finch... I sent Tigerpaw back he is still too weak to hunt but he tried very hard."

Her lobes perked up expectantly as Nightpelt approached. She piped in before the idea of a hunting party was announced,"Congratulations on the promotion, Nightpelt." The apprentice dipped her cranium as a sign of respect for the new deputy, sea foam green luminaries shining with admiration at the thought of such a high position. It took the honor and the respect of the leader to earn such a high title.
She rose to her paws after a faint struggle, body demanding a break from scanning the territory all morning for signs of life. Alas, it was her duty to find prey for those that could not right now. "I would love to join you on your hunting patrol," she paused to listen to Tigerpaw, sympathetically placing her plumy tail on his shoulder before continuing,"No worries! I'll bring you back the juiciest catch I can find. You'll be better in no time." She attempted to be optimistic to everyone as of late, silently wishing to give some clan members hope with a cheerful and encouraging smile to motivate them.
