Now below the gap we instantly run into problems.

The following pets have NO information to be found so would technically be put together on a tier.
all galaxies, all toxics, all sorbets, all balloons, all tribals, red x pps, rose pps, wolf pps, dragon pps, WWA.


The following pets we do have info about:

Before 2012 but none after (these were vr since the update)
Joker went up to very rare may 2010
skeleton pps went up very rare in march 2010 or earlier.
Shima b-wolf went up very rare in april 2010


before and after 2012
Ur Butterbun up and down omg so rare (last up in july 2013 and down in july 2014)
Joker bun up and down omg so rare (last up unknown but down in jan 2014)
Rainbow mare up and down omg so rare (last up dec 2013, down jan 2014)
Speckled rats up and down omg so rare (omg from rarity update 2012, down in july 2014)
Dark heart rat up and down omg so rare (last up aug 2013, down in july 2014)

So with that info, the below gap would look like this:

That is not an option. we can't lump all those pets together when we know that by rarity there is a difference between them. like, we know that all the sorbets are the same rarity because tess has said so but we also know that the toxics clearly do not have the same rarity. each year we can easily see that by how many puppies grow up to be what color.. (and yes, i have studied this for several years in a row.)

Steps that need to be taken:

1. Divide the list up by OMG So Rare Pets and Very Rares.
2. Look through previous rarity changes for the omg so rare pets, dividing them to "all time omgsr" and "previously vr".
3. Look through previous rarity changes for the very rares, dividing them to "previously omgsr", "all time vr" and "previously r".

• Currently only consisting of Main List pets
• Only taking changes after the overhaul into account
