The only "plants" I water currently are my marimo balls.
And I only remember about them because the cats drink out of the cups the marimos are in.
And by that I mean, they will sit next to the almost empty cups and death stare @ me until I fill them up lmao.

(oh no! Dying plants ;n;)
I usually move them somewhere where they are more noticeable/where you see them every day. So it triggers a "oh hey i should water them".

I have this cute magnet that holds the calendar on the fridge that says to water your plants.

Thank you all for those ideas! Sadly I'd have to stop my cat since none of mine are aquatic plants so she'd be eating soil lol.
All of my plants are in my room so I could move them around a bit so they stick out more!
And a calendar would be super useful! (I know what I want this giftgiving season!)
I have a silly lil question for y'all:
if you could recieve any plant in the world, what would you want?
Personally, I would want a well established wisteria - and since this is all fantasy I'll say that I have a huge trellis too that creates an arch over a part of my garden

Heliconia flowers are gorgeous, but it gets really cold here so it won't be suitable. xc

If trees count, I'm absolutely in love with the rainbow eucalyptus. Also cherry trees. The colorful little petals are just so gorgeous. And dragonblood trees, because they just look like something straight out of a fantasy movie with floating islands and stuff.
I also keep thinking about lemon trees. But with my experience with my last babby, I'm kinda scared to. I didn't know how to deal with the pests it got, so eventually it just died.

welcome JJ; i had to search for night sky petunias as i hadn't heard of them before, but they are stunning <3
gardening and plants are a big, and very important part of my life, so I know what you mean, I only really
began collecting plants over the last few years too but i always used to garden with my dad when i was
younger.
I hadn't even thought of the end of season sales, that's a brilliant idea haha; my nearest garden center is a 10
minute walk away so I might go visit if they're still open. I really wish there were a nursery near me so in
spring I could get some new babies!
Trees definitely count!! And... I think I may want a rainbow eucalyptus now... I looove sakura; we have a tiny tree related to cherry blossoms in our garden and it's so sweet. Haha dragonblood trees look very tolkien imo.
I'd say try again, if you can! I'd love a lemon tree but I have seriously 0 clue how to begin one, and I've never tried growing from seed so that would terrify me.
