It's wonderful to see some GUPPS, and this year's batch are gorgeous.

I love the glow and the colours on this baby! The little white patch on his chin/chest is my favourite thing about him.

Ohh this one is super pretty! I really love the one floppy ear and the pale purple accent against the grey.

Ahh I loved this litter originally, it's great to see this PPS grow. The little sparkles around him are lovely, don't know if anyone noticed them yet!

How adorable! I love how he kept his little pyjamas, and the little white speckles around his feet~

Another pretty Halloween pup! I really like her amber eyes.

Ahh, this one is interesting! I love the addition of the tentacles. She almost looks like a 4th outcome for the litter.

I've always loved these little chocolate bunnies. They're super cute grown, especially the white one with the little bite out of her!

Parrot chicken, ahh! As with the rest of her litter the colours are super pretty and her feathers look lovely.

Ah, what a lovely deer! I really love how you can see the subtle details more in the adult design, like the purple on her back!

And the odd one out! Why a 2013 draft? Who knows! But he's super adorable and that's all that matters.

Today was a great day! I think yesterday's horses are still my absolute favourite, but all of today's outcomes are lovely!

Here's a Question for the Artists, relating to today's release:

When you make a litter of pets, do you intend for some of the to be PPS, or is that a site decision when you present your designs? Like, Do the admins look at the various stages and say "Well this one can be left a second stage PPS while the others can grow up"?

I ask because I guess I sort of assume that the final stages were already drawn when the litter was presented, and the Christmas Watermark was just sort of tacked on for the event. Not to make the site sound lazy at all; I just think that would be an easy way to go about it for the event, rather than have you all dig up the designs and Re-draw them for the deadline. Just..have them already done...

Actually, each pet is listed in the Archive has having been done by the original litter's artist, so no, Emberwolf did not do all of tonight pets.

The artist is the one who gets to decide if a pet is made a PPS or not. It's entirely possible that some artists already have GUPPS designs in mind when they create a PPS pet for a litter, but it's not done in the way that an artist makes a grown up pet and then gets told that they should keep it PPS for the release. That's completely up to the creator.

My assumption has been that the staff goes through the last year or two and picks out a few pets that they'd like to do an adult version of - I would assume that the artist who did the original litter gets priority for doing the growths for consistency of style and whatnot. Considering that I believe the deer was from 2014 I doubt the artist would've made an adult and waited two years to release it lol.

Hah, I guess that makes sense. xD
It's just always something I've though about, year to year.

I know I, personally, can never draw the same thing twice and have it look like it matches, so I guess in parallel to myself, I would have though it to be easier to do /while/ you're already working the litter.
