Carter heard Asurri yell for Koen. He followed the sound of hooves on tile and found Koen. "Good morning." he said, "Is everything okay? I think Max will get you guys something to eat soon."

Koen saw Carter coming towards them. "I'm not happy with the amount of discomfort Asurri is in." He snorted afterwards as Asurri came to stand beside him. "Sorry Carter. He's just overreacting."

Max smiled and headed to the area where all the food was prepared for the creature's and began slicing an apple. He drifted into thought as he was slicing it and accidently cut his finger.
" Shoot!" He whispered and rapped his finger in a small cloth he found in his pocket and then made sure he didn't get any blood on the apple he was slicing.

"Well, if she's ever in a lot of pain, I can always give her some painkillers." swaid Carter, "But it has to be up to Asurri. I don't feel like being bitten or stomped by an alicorn."

Mary pricked her ears as she heard Max. She left her mate and pups with Alessa as she went off to investigate. The pups began to crawl over Alessa.

"I'm not in any pain. I'm just really, really uncomfortable." She shifted about on her hooves feeling bad for Carter. She knew he was a busy man lately. "Can't you do anything for the discomfort? Surely in time that will cause pain." It bugged him that he couldn't help his mate out yet this human could but wasn't doing anything.

"I can give her very weak painkillers, but again, it's up to her." said Carter, "Resting and perhaps eating will settle the foal down some."

Asurri shook her head and stepped back a little. "No painkillers, won't it affect the foal?" She lifted her right wing to look at her stomach only to be amazed at the size it now was. "It would seem I've swollen quite a bit overnight." Koen looked between Carter, his mate and her stomach. "Even I can't explain that one."

Max finished slicing the apples and put them in a bowl.
" I should probably go check on the other creature's after I give Henry these apple slices" He thought aloud. Max went into the hallway with the bowl of apple slices and started walking to Mary and Henry's enclosure.

"There's safe painkillers that won't pass through the placenta." he said. He then felt Asurri's underside. "Strange..." he mumbled, "I can't imagine it growing that quickly overnight."

Mary stopped when she saw Max. "I thought I heard you." she said, "Are you alright?"

" Yeah I'm fine I just accidently cut my finger" He said a small smile on his face
