I don't know if I was supposed to fill out a form or anything, but I have a quick question.

When ever I'm out to walk my dog, she always growls and barks (not so friendly) at other dogs. This kind of embarrasses me and I really want to train her to calm down and act normal around other dogs. Other than that, she's a sweetheart at home. She likes to sleep a lot and lay in the sun. Her name is Bella.

When does she start barking are the dogs close to you or as soon as she sees them from far away?
what you can do is teach her seeing new dogs equals good things try get to a distance that she's not barking but can see the other dog than give treats.
When she starts barking try and calm her down put her in a sit or have her focus on you or move away until she stops barking than give a treat. that's what I do with my dogs. I'm sure more people will chime in.

It was a place with all kinds of pets such as birds, cats, dogs, rabbits, and fish. I'm pretty sure it was not a breeder.
I'm pretty calm holding her leash, when I see another dog pass by though, I pull her close to me and say no.

She might sense you being anxious knowing she does that. Say no, and keep walking calmly. Your body posture and mood travels from you and the leash and Bella will pick that sense up and bark, as a protection to you. Give her treats every time she ignores and praise her for it. She'll get the idea eventually and ignore other dogs and people.

Samson is five months old now~ I got him early Christmas presents which were six toys in a stocking, a sweater for outside, a new collar and a leash. He meet a two new dogs, Rocky and a Fifi, Samson literally had a blast.

This is Sheba (red collar) and Ty (no collar). I'm taking them to the store so I can buy them a Christmas sweater, and I also need to buy a collar for Ty. After that, its bath time and oh do they hate bath time..

I'm having trouble finding a sweater for my own dog. She has a raincoat, thankfully, but her chest is so deep compared to her tummy that many regular sweaters won't fit. In addition, the leash I have clips both in the front and on the back of the harness, so finding one with proper holes/flaps in both places is a challenge.

I gave up using the holes in clothing, since they're really designed for attaching a leash to a collar, and it's a struggle to get the leash clip through anyway. I bought a harness that is adjustable and put it over her clothes.

You might have better luck getting some cheap children's clothing at a thrift store (like Goodwill) or a yard sale and adjusting it for her. There are tutorials online and you can use fabric tape if you don't want to/can't sew.

Its been a while since I shared a picture of Nyx and I thought that maybe I would share a couple of him working. Yes he is a German Shepherd Dog. No he didnt have a great early life but he has a great life now and chooses to work. He isnt being forced to be my Service Dog. He enjoys his work and no the band on his nose is NOT a muzzle its a halti head collar.
