Why are they so weak and small?" She asked in her soft voice, looking back and forth between the to and the kit.

Nurikit flinched and and opened her blind eyes for a second before closing them again. Her sides barely moved as her breathing had slowed. The small, weak, blind kit had been left alone too long without care or food and was near death. Her silver tabby fur was covered in sand so it was more of a sand cat fur.

Rainypaw sighed and looked around camp. Most felines ignored her so she didn't have any friends. She tried to find another apprentice to hang with or her mentor to train with but nobody was in sight. She shook out her fur and padded over to the waters edge and looked down at her reflection.
