Speaking of no spoilers...
I was sosososo upset before the release because the full game was leaked. So when I would go onto Youtube, of course I'd have Pokemon SM videos in my recommended (because I'm a Pokemon fanatic). Lo and behold, someone had posted thumbnails of scenes that ruined a decent part of the plot for me, and the title ruined even more. I was annoyed, but luckily the story is verrryyy expansive. I've been a Pokemon fan for as long as I can remember, so the story in my opinion was amazing and a breath of fresh air compared to previous storylines.
Who'd you pick as your starter?

I absolutely loved Sun and Moon and it was nice to have something completely. Being someone who has played since Red, Blue, and Yellow I really was skeptical of the change at first, but they made it work very well and there are just some aspects of the game that I love so much
Quick Spoiler below (Will be in transparent text so highlight if you'd like):
Favorite thing is being the first champion and actually having to defend your title from various different trainers. I've been waiting for this for so long
As for starter, I went with Popplio because it had been my favorite since the release of the three and I absolutely love Primarina. It is such a pretty Pokemon with a nice typing

I was skeptical at first as well, in all honesty. My first impression was that some trials would just be taking a picture of a Pokemon with the Pokefinder and that was that. In that aspect, I thought that made the game too childish and easy for me. But I was wrong, thankfully, and I found the game harder than previous, also thankful. I guess just not knowing completely what the trials would be like made me feel iffy about it at first.
I also chose Popplio. My favorite typing has been fairy since Gen 6, and Primarina just captured my heart ever since the leaks. A male Primarina feels unfit, but I don't pay too much attention.

I have a friend over frequently and we play animal crossing Amibbo festival. It's quite fun

Personally, I have high hopes for the console. I think it combines the previous successes of Nintendo consoles and improves upon the mobility that the Wii U was headed for. And if they have a great selection of games at launch, I think there will be some great sales.
Oh I'm sure it will have great sales and be what the Wii u was headed for. But I just simply don't think I'll buy it soon. However if it were gifted to me I'd be happy but honestly I'm content with my Wii u.
Has anyone been on a plane with the 3ds or new 3ds? I wanna take my 3ds with me to America (get some spot pass peeps) but my question is.. how do I make sure my 3ds won't like pick up wifi.. I get kinda worried I'd do somthing so terrible XD I hope you can understand my question.

i understand you. x3 i took my 3ds on an overnight/seas plane so i gotcha.
it won't pick up a wifi unless you have already registered it within the device and are using it again, or you put it in. so just chilling on the plane with it won't do anything unless you connect to the planes wifi (if it even has any). the little switch on the side (for regular at least) is for spotpass.. but that shouldn't be a problem. there shouldn't be an issues. c:

Oh, I get it. Whoops I misunderstood. I agree though, despite how big of a flop the Wii U was sales-wise, I actually really enjoy mine. Mine's only about a year old, so upgrading to the Switch seems kind of dumb, but...
I'd feel better about upgrading if the Switch would have backwards compatibility but as it sounds, I don't think it will. Just from the pictures, it doesn't even look like the console will use discs. Has that been confirmed? Maybe. But if it did, then I'd buy it and just sell my Wii U. Who knows.

Well if it had backwards compatibility, then maybe I would sell the Wii u and by the switch. But there is so much we don't know about yet. I have a friend who had already preordered it before anything was revealed. I called him an idiot.. but it is his money so...

Its been confirmed that the switch will use cartridges and its also thought that they are bigger than the ds and 3ds ones.
