Fabian slightly smiled at Shade, feeling awkward and nervous, his cheeks flushed harder as Shade did his usual grin and when he touched his cheeks, his pale eyes widened and then his shocked expression turned to one of disappointment when Shade moved his hands.

"Screw that!" He exclaimed loudly and crossed his arms across his chest and stamped his foot. "Like I want to be straight now that my crush admitted he liked me? Do you have Brain damage!?" He exclaimed with a huff, his pale peach coloured eyes narrowing at Shade.

"Just making sure." Shade grinned, letting out a velvety chuckle. His heart was beginning to slow from the initial shock of the situation, and the surprise was now being replaced by a warm glow of delight.

"Glad to see you're make to normal." Shade said, winking one ice blue eye at Fabe in affection. He then seemed to realize that Van had been watching the proceedings the whole time. His cheeks turned crimson as he saw her knowing, and amused smile.

"You know, you could have let this be a more intimate moment." He grumbled, crossing his arms, one hip cocked to the side. His eyes narrowed as she replied, "I need to make sure you two didn't screw up again." Shade sighed and then chuckled again.

"Well, Fabe. It looks like, according to Fan, we needed a chaperone to make sure our feelings were understood." He said, shooting a sarcastic look to Van.

"May as well buy me a dog leash" Fabian said and grinned playfully at Van, though his five minute attention span ran out and he began thinking about what he would look like as a dog. He grinned slightly at the thought before looking at Van, and then Shade, feeling a little awkward.

"What do we do now?" He asked quietly, his pale peach coloured eyes narrowing and he tightened his arms which were wrapped around himself tightly. He lightly brushed his fingers through his messy hair, missing his headband and his gloves already, he frowned slightly.

Shade, having gotten over the initial awkwardness, gave Fabe a bit of a dirty grin. "Well, usually two people who like each other start going out after they confess." He chuckled, running a hand through his crimson hair with a wink. His slender fingers met no resistance as they slid through the red locks and he found himself truly regretting breaking his tiara.

"Then, after that, I'll need to get a new tiara." He sighed, letting his hand fall to his side limply.

Fabian nodded slightly, a thoughtful frown on his tanned face. "Then we should go out!" He exclaimed firmly, his pale eyes narrowing at Shade before he smiled widely, it wasn't a very "Fabian" sort of smile, but it was a smile none the less. He put his hands behind his back and turned his head away guiltily as Shade declared he needed a new Tiara.

"I'll buy you a new one, it was my fault your old one got broken" He said quietly and kicked the pavement with his foot lightly.

Shade grinned crookedly again, his ice blue eyes alight with fondness and affection. With sure, confident movements, he walked to Fabe and slipped his slender hand into his friend's, twining their fingers together. "This makes up for the tiara." He said, his voice rich as butter. He felt comfortable at Fabe's side, and he wondered why he had never had the courage to tell him before. Now, it felt so childish.

[Oh okay, sorry to see you go.]

Fabian's cheeks flushed pink and he smiled awkwardly at Shade, feeling a bit out of place and nervous. He lightly squeezed Shade's hand and his pale eyes narrowed slightly, he glanced at Van and then back at Shade and half smiled. "Okay" He conceded and shrugged his shoulders, holding hands with Shadey would be better then having to use his money, though he still would shout Shade dinner sometime soon for him being a doofus.

Shade smiled softly, then glanced at the clock. "Well, damn!" He exclaimed, pouting furiously. "We lost all of our lunch time." As if in response, his stomach grumbled angrily. Shade giggled and shrugged. "Whatever. We can all grab a bite to eat after school." He grinned widely, then turned serious. "Oh, I want to tell you two something. It's about Cue. I suggest you keep an eye out for each other. I don't trust him; he seems dangerous."

Van shuddered, nodding. "He threatened me subtly about poisoning my food. He may just be trying to scare me, but...." She blinked her hazel eyes.

Fabian frowned and too looked at the clock, a frown on his tanned face and he sighed, he had just started to get hungry. He glanced back at Van and Shade once they talked about Cue and frowned in a worried way. "I have a ban feeling..." He mumbled quietly, his peach coloured eyes dark with worry and another unreadable expression.
