Poppykit sighed and sat down in the sun and turned to look at him. "Why do you care for me?" Her face was soaked from the tears she had spilled earlier and still threatened to fall.

Storm fail growled, sitting alone.

Jaykit bounded up to Reedheart after putting down Dandelion kit. "Where mommy? I hungwy!" He moaned.

Tinypaw was back from her training and walked up to poppykit. "What's wrong, sis?" She meowed

Cederheart:
" I don't honestly know, maybe it's because I have never had a kit of my own and never will." Cederheart sighed too, sitting next to her staring out into the clearing thinking about Rippleclaw sadly and then Reedheart when they had been mates.

Reedheart:
He growled and said ignoring Jaykit," I don't know, ask someone else." And raced out of camp, unaware that each time he leapt away, a few seconds later the grass withered to another cats paw prints, Echofall's.

Poppykit almost jumped and looked at her foster sister. She kept her mouth shut then turned her head away. "It's nothing..." She looked at the dirt and scraped at it with her good paw before sighing and getting up once again. "Sorry for wasting your time." She entered the nursery hesitantly.

Cederheart:
He left Poppykit to her privacy and sat outside the Nursery still gazing out on the clearing and sighing, his ears flopped and eyes troubled with a misty jade green.

Poppykit laid in her nest and stayed silent. She knew she was pushing them away but she didn't care anymore. She thought they were better without her.

Tinypaw followed her into the nursery. "I remember when I was first brought to the clan. It was a few hours before you were born." She smiled, looking at the spot she used to sleep in as a small kit. "You probably knew I wasn't your foster sister due to my fur." She smiled, licking her cream tabby fur.

Poppykit looked at her sister. She listened to her as she gave a soft smile. She hide her smile with her paws as she flicked her ear.

"Ashrunner is a really nice cat! She took me in straight away! I would really like to have kits of my own. Maybe I can sneak kits. But there is barely any Tom apprentices my age." She meowed. Tinypaw had been told about having kits, about how they were made and how to raise them.

Poppykit nudged her sister and smiled, "You would be a great mother." She said with her soft voice.
