Sweetnose Mastiff Rescue Tasks

Everyday when I get home, I bring in all of my dogs and we watch TV together. I bring them home treats and dog snacks. They all drool when they see my bag of snacks. We don't watch nature TV shows because my dogs go crazy. Zada and Ryn cuddle up under Zada's blanket and fall asleep quickly. Lajila lays on her bed. Rory and Zavier cuddle with me. For dinner, we all eat together and Ryn shares her food with whoever wants it. We go on trail rides most days and all of my dogs come along. Zavier, Rory, and Ryn run off while Lajila stays close by. I have Zada ride in a wagon or stay home. She does not mind. Ryn loves the forest behind the ranch and is never bored. I let her run free on trail rides because I have a tracker collar on her, Zavier, and Rory so if they ever get lost, I can get them. On rainy days, I bring my dogs in and we all cuddle and play with toys. Lajila and Farryn are becoming closer and are warming up to each other. Now, they run and play in the pasture and thanks to Ryn, Lajila is now comfortable with Rory and Zavier. Now, all of my dogs are friends thanks to my girl, Ryn.

Ryn's favorite spot to sleep is on the bottom of my bed. She doesn't like to leave my side. While all of the other dogs sleep on their dog beds in my room, Ryn sleeps on my bed. When my alarm goes off, she sometimes falls off my bed from shock. If I oversleep my alarm, she will nudge me and try to get me up. When I go to sleep, she cuddles with me until I fall asleep, then she moves to the bottom of my bed. I love having her around because I know that if anything ever happened to me, she would be there to rescue me or go get help. When my boyfriend comes over, she sleeps on her bed next to my other dogs and she doesn't look mad or upset that she can't sleep in her spot. She just wants to be near me. When I fall asleep in my office or on the couch, she falls asleep by my side. When I fall asleep at my office desk, she nudges me and wakes me up then we go to my room after I finish up my work. She is a great companion and girl. I love that dog so much and she is so compassionate and caring.

Ryn's biggest fear is getting hurt. She is cautious around cars, horse trailers, tractors, or anything that makes a loud noise and moves around. If she's running out in the forest, she doesn't care or worry about getting hurt. It's only around metal, man made things. She's also cautious when she walks up and down my stairs because sometimes she trips over her paws and falls flat on her face. I do not know how to get Ryn to overcome her fear of machinery because it doesn't affect her much. She gets in the car when she is told to and she does not hesitate to get in the car. It's only when a car is a moving, she won't go near any moving cars, trailers, or tractors. Loud noises don't scare her in general because she goes hunting all the time with the ranch hands and she seems to not be bothered by the gunshots. She will not get in horse trailers which is understandable and unnecessary for her to ever go in one because she always rides in the car with me. This girl does not have nightmares about the incident where she lost her tail. She never has nightmares so I don't think she has post traumatic stress disorder or any mental issues. She is just cautious around them. I think she is more aware of her surroundings when she is around machinery. Whether that's a good or bad thing, I do not know.
