I never taught Lucy how to play. I have a nylabone stick. that is the only thing she chews on.

she dosen't do tug of war, she dosen't chase balls. she dosen't play tag. the only play she would do, is if you use your arm, so she can wrestle.

i'd blame the shake cry and yell on my bipolar. I'm on medication for it.

Pictures of Ruby! Sorry if they aren't very good, it's hard to get any good ones of her as she hates staying still long enough for me to snap a picture. She's going to be 13 weeks old tomorrow.
So, I was wondering if someone could say what color they think she is? It's very hard to tell with her, she is supposed to be a blue and white, but she has red markings (depending on how the light hits her), and lighter markings, as well as darker spots. She also seems to have a darker line around the white, and also a possible saddle pattern. And maybe even brindle. She has grayish colored eyes, and a butterfly nose. Her father is black and white, and her mother a blue merle, and she's rather closely related to dogs that are seal, sable, lilac, and a lot of other colors.
The pictures don't show her markings as well as they appear in real life, but it's the best I could do. It's possible she's a merle, which is why I plan to test her for the gene. Lately I've been wondering if she could even be a seal merle. She's a mystery for sure though

She is BEAUTIFUL I would say a blue merle but its hard to tell this young. What breed is she? I would love to cuddle with her.... I love puppies! I used to be a pit bull breeder years ago and loved being there when the pups were born and then connecting with the new owners that were lucky enough to get one of my pups. My breeder contract stated that if an owner could not keep the pup they had to return it to us.

is that she actually isn't blue ! She is in fact, black with the greying gene. You can tell this because

The red could be bronzing but no matter the color of your dog, she is gorgeous and you should love her the same !

Thanks! It'll be 5 weeks tomorrow! She's adjusting great, and no serious crazy puppy peeves... Yet

Haha thanks! Her ears are definitely starting to perk up, and I thought it took them around a year before they would have their final shape (I know it's going to take a while though), and at first it was only one ear up, but now the other is catching up.
Thanks for the links and research you did! I appreciate it that makes a lot of sense about her coloring too.
And of course, I will always love her the same, regardless of her coloring.

She managed to slide her playpen over to the nearest wall, and then chew a pretty good sized patch off the wall. She really needs a new playpen with a roof on it, because she's gonna be jumping out of there before long.

She managed to slide her playpen over to the nearest wall, and then chew a pretty good sized patch off the wall. She really needs a new playpen with a roof on it, because she's gonna be jumping out of there before long.

We didn't have Chloe as a puppy, so we haven't had to deal with much chewing from her. I'd say a cupcake paper thought because she proceed to eat it and scared me. She was okay, but I learned my lesson about cleaning up after myself.
