Would love to see hyenas or at least hyena colored canines. =3 Spotted, striped, brown, aardwolves ....

We did have a hyena based dog once, but it isn't really very hyena like. There are so many beautiful colourations of the spotted hyenas alone, and I'd love to see a full litter of little 'yeena doggies. Either all spotted or a litter with one pup of each hyena species, it'd be great^^.

And oh, they could be bobtails. <3

we've got the african wild dog coloring so why not also have spotted hyena and the aard wolf is also called the striped hyena it would be a very interesting coat color to see on the dogs. i also think that there should be some pps pups in the hyena litter andthe bobtails for the hyenas thats a great idea and maybe the aard wolf could be an uncommon and the brown hyena could be the uncommon ones in the litter cause they have long tails.

A very odd thought came to me last night. I was hopped up on cold medicine, so I'm not sure if it's a good idea or not. What about having an old dog? One with faded markings and wrinkles?

I agree with the PPS thing. Spotted hyena cubs look very different than the adults.

By the way, aardwolves and striped hyenas are different subspecies. The striped hyena is carnivorous and robust like its spotted cousin, while the aardwolf is a wimpy little termite eater. [/offtopicness]

EDIT: I just thought of something. How about cats based on different types of hummingbird, like the Ruby-Throated, Broad-Billed, Sword-Billed, etc.?

the staff dogs will never be breed. this is so no staff member feels that one is better than another.
