five minutes into the episode and carls already being stupid. jesus christ

to me the plot of this episode makes no sense, as well as carls reaction to everything. he came all that way to kill neagan and he couldnt do it, even when he was a few feet away from him. well, i get that part, its takes guts to kill, but when neagan offered carl a hand, why did carl take it? a few minutes later negan is letting him walk around freely, showing him around his camp. i feel like it went by to fast. either that or carl is too dumb for his own good

Now that I think about it, Carl is very stupid and should be put on a leash. He caused the whole group trouble.. and now Negan is at Alexandria until Rick comes back, but Rick is looking for Negan and just damn. That moment when he touched Judith all I gave him was a death stare lol. Not cool Carl, you going to let him do that?

Negan is psychotic. He's supposed to be brutal, tbh he was way more worse in the comics.

7x07 spoilers:
[ I really liked seeing how closely last night's episode followed the comics. I was really looking forward to Carl and Negan's interactions (also Negan's conversation with Olivia lol), so it was fun to see some of my favorite comic scenes from this arc acted out. Chandler Riggs was great! c:

The only thing is, I'm kind of starting to feel like, as time goes on, that Negan just doesn't translate too well onto TV. I liked him way better in the comics, but he's just kind of disappointing in the show lol. I do think that JDM is a great actor for him, though, and the character was great in 7x01, but after that, I just don't know if all the comics scenes really fit. I still like them, though. :p

And fwiw, I actually liked Rosita last night. I know a lot of people think she's a jerk and are upset with the way she treated Eugene, and I do think some of that was uncalled for, but idk, she's going through some stuff, so I'm giving her a break. I just like that she's one of the characters who actually wants to do something about Negan instead of letting him break her! ]

There are more brutal deaths in the comics that Negan caused. You also get more of a creepy vibe from him, but in the show there's a lot more humour.

i like negan a bit less after this episode,, it was dry of humour from him sadly.
do you undERSTAND HOW HARD I WAS SCREAMING FOR OLIVIA TO SLAP HIM AND I DIDNT THINK SHED DO IT BUT SHE DID YES GO GIRL NEGAN WHO?!!?!?

also i get what youre saying^^ but rosita was out of line,, none of what she said to him was right or even true anymore and abraham woulve been ashamed lmao,, eugene lost him too remember, she doesnt have to snap like that. also yes gabRIEL STRAIGHTENED SPENCER OUT IN THAT CAR HE ROASTED HIM AND L E F T LMAO,, speaking of i hope he dies next episode,, yknow mid season finale also slight sad bc negan no longer has his beard :c

ahem,, needless to say carl is not a 'badass' hes stupid. thats what bothered me the most,, that negan kept calling him cool and badass when he isnt?! lmao,, hes a dumb kid who needs to be put back in line and on a leash so he doesnt get more people killed.

also i may not like or understand why dwight acts like a douche but i do feel bad for him,, its so unfair to him,, all of it. im still unsure about sherry,she seems nice but also kinda snappy with dwight without good reason,,

seeing negans compassionate side was kinda nice //i like to belueve he was genuinly sorry for almost making carl cry about his eye

last but not least; i did indeed get angry and yell in panic when he found judith, doNT TOUCHE DA CHILD.

Im mad at Rosita. She was completely rude to Eugene. I don't like Eugene, but she went to far. Calling him a coward and telling him he had no choice. I wanted to slap her like Olivia slapped Negan. It just made me so mad to see her treating another person like that.

my sister who hates TWD was in the room when I watched it. She saw Gabriel burn Spencer and was like 'oo he got burned.' She wants him to live so he can burn others X3 I hate him though

before season seven it was rick and glenn for the guys and michonne and tara for the girls{i loved maggie sm though}
currently its rick and negan,, and maggie and michonne.

rick has always been my favourite,,maybe its because we've been following him for so long and i grew attached so easy but ive always gravitated to him and loved him,, though there have been times where ive seriously questioned his ideas and judgement, he always sets things right in the end.

negan is kind of tricky to explain,, as a person i dont like him too much yknow he intimidates me if im honest and hes got too much power then a man like him should. but hes got charisma and im ngl i feel like if he isnt killed in the show{ive no idea what goes down in the comic} he could be a really cool reformed character? if he made some changes he could be a funny asset to the show,, again, i just love a good villain and he brought humour with him so waheeeeeeeey

honourable mentions;; tara is great because shes strong and funny, michonne is my q U E EN YES GIRL GET IT WITH THAT SWORD,,maggie is so strong omg yes,, rosita is snappy but shes risin up y'all.glenn was the one who had humanity left and i loved him for it and lastly morgan has a very nice mindset and perspective as does ezekiel //also gabriel is hilarious yessssssssss
