What rules should there be for a secret santa art exchange?
Well I think artist should also be able to gift ppl who cant make/afford to order art.

Christmas/winter related design suggestions?
maybe like different Christmas sweets or some based on different
Christmas stories? Especially a snow queen vaiki would be AWESOME!

Palettes you'd like to see for gift vaikis?
Anything that either screams Christmas or sticks well with that theme so when you look at the
gift you know what it is.

Any other suggestions for the event?
Personally I love the raffles so as long as there's one I'm good.

What rules should there be for a secret santa art exchange?
Mm, I agree with LadyChinaAru, I think the person/player could be able to gift art, even if the other person has something come up and they aren't able to finish.

Christmas/winter related design suggestions?
Maybe designs that would show the spirit of Christmas/Winter?
They could also be based off of household items that you would use more during the season of Winter, like a tissue box or a mug, maybe a sweater? Honestly I would die for a vaiki based off of a tissue box

Palettes you'd like to see for gift vaikis?
Soft colors? Or to be different, maybe a mixture of soft pastel and beige or silver. Maybe some of them don't have to exactly remind you of christmas, maybe just something that the artist feels would be nice. I'm not sure if eventually it would be difficult to continuously come up with Christmas/Winter based designs without reusing a pattern.

Any other suggestions for the event?
There could be spontaneous gifting, or basically something that would make others happy! It's up to what you feel like would be the best! <3

What rules should there be for a secret santa art exchange?
I'm gonna be the odd man out here and say, as a rule, that people cannot sign up if they are not going to participate and do their share. I don't think it'd be fair for people to be able to sign up just to receive art. I think that if someone wants to sign up for the secret santa thing, they have to actively participate and do/get art for the person they're assigned. I also think that failure to do so (to only join for free art and copping out of doing your part for the person youre assigned) should result in either a temporary or permanent ban from future vaiki art events like this one.
If someone is going to be gone on the gifting day, I also suggest a "late gifter" window, or to send the finished art to ege to give to the recipient on the designated gifting day. uvu
ALSO perhaps a "quality requirement"? as vague as i can make it, perhaps it cant be an uncolored, sketchy mess or poorly-photographed traditional, it has to have effort and be neat, and you have to be able to tell what vaiki is in the image. :0c

What rules should there be for a secret santa art exchange? (some responses italicized & bolded for emphasis)
No color-in works should be allowed. It's a quick and easy way to get out of spending the proper amount of time on the art.
People who can't make the art should not participate at all. It's not fair to other people who make art and get nothing in return.
People who know that their work will be late (due to work/family issues etc.) should notify the event host beforehand so that the host can warn their secret santa that their gift will be late.
The art should be made by the person, not ordered.

Continuing with the daily raffle from previous events, but call it the advent calendar instead qwq
Do the art & writing prompt that you did w the summer and spring events so that people that want free art of their ki's can request it from people who want tokens
