I love the grayscale theme, it gives off a slightly moody feel. The wavering gif resembles a focusing and unfocusing camera, if that was a purposeful addition. It goes along with your signature nicely, as well.

your avatar seems very well-made! i liked the white border you used to outline the box.
as for the avatar itself, i really liked the lighting for it. he seems to be quite nervous /
worried though haha
