@200765 sure c: feel free to change the name of your asteria walker whenever you like. that part of the form is more to just keep people from posting a form without thinking about it, if that makes sense? like i'd rather adopters show that they're at least semi-attached to the walker they're trying to adopt, since there are many others entering for the same asteria and it would be unfair to give it to someone that doesn't really care, ya know?
i dunno, the name is just to make people stop and think for a second about their form. so yeah, feel free to change it at your leisure c: it's not kept on file so it's just a personal thing.

Okay, thanks for answering my question! I understand perfectly, it's like a way of you knowing that whoever gets it will really treasure it or something like that.

if asteria walkers are created when elders asteri shed their stars, then how was the very first one created?
;O
that is actually a very good question...
well, the way that i imagined it was that, since i created asteria walkers to exist in an alternate universe to our own, but with similar godly presences to egyptian lore (where there are gods/goddesses that exist as an embodiment of a specific creature/weather pattern/lifestyle/etc.), there was once an ancient goddess of galaxies who had carefully crafted and hand-made each star in the sky over her many years. one day, saddened greatly by how lonely she could get watching over her beautiful, yet desolate, masterpiece of the sky (while her siblings, the sun and moon gods, got to enjoy the companionship of seeing the earthlings grow and learn each day and night), she gathered together a group of glittering stars and formed them into a tiny kitten-like creature with three stars on it's back. called Serena, this new being came to take on the title of the very first asteria walker and the star goddess' galaxy-walking companion. it is from Serena that the second generation of asteria walkers derived from, as the star goddess' first creation is older than man itself, and has lost many of it's own stars over the years of it's existence. it is rumored by those who have recently begun to observe the nature of asteria walkers that this eternal being is still roaming the stars with it's creator, watching over all of it's kind.
