He looked around the den to see a single nest in the center, after the omegas sharp warning he decided it was best not to sleep here. He left the den, laying down in a patch of shade he watched as to wolves had what looked like a mock fight.

She kept her head low as she slipped quietly through the forest.

Xavier left the den, his tails swaying as he left. He wanted to look back at White Flame, but knew it would be too tempting to stay. He looked around for Star, but didn't see her.

Star Gazer

Star gasped as he escaped and got ready to pounce again. She missed, tumbling through the bushes and straight into Latke."Oh my goodness! I didn't see you there... Sorry!"She barked to him, eyes wide with shock.

Daze laughed and bounded over to where the fae had fallen. He hesitated for a second when he noticed that she had knocked into Latke. "Hey!" Daze said to the brute and dipped his head. He felt slightly awkward because he didn't know this a wolf very well, but he want to to be friendly. Daze turned back to Star and was unable to hold in his laughter at her recent clumsiness.

White Flame

White Flame watched Xavier as he left. He sighed, and he looked around camp as he exited his den. White Flame walked over to a small clear area and lay down in the grass.

Xavier sniffed the air and picked up Star and Daze's scents."They went into the woods."He said to White Flame."Should we go get them?"

Star Gazer

Star rolled her eyes at Daze. She wanted to jump at him again to get revenge, but felt too embarrassed. She too had not really talked to Latke before.

White Flame looked up at Xavier and got to his feet. "If you think we should be get them then sure," he answered and suddenly remembered what Star had said to him, and he began to worry if she was still upset with him.

He slowly picked himself off the ground, "ah it's okay" he stammered " I wasn't paying attention either". He shook the dirt from his pelt, then bowed his head to the huntress and warrior, "I'm Latke" he let his head hang low in submission.

She mumbled to herself as she began to break into a slow trot.

Daze smiled at Latke and looked back at Star. "Is hunting the answer to escaping all of your awkward situations?" He laughed and flicked his tail, "but if you're up for it, then so am I." He said and turned to Latke.

"Alright," White Flame replied with a nod. "We should get going then," he said pausing slightly on the word we. He followed Xavier towards the forest and away from camp.

His stomach let out a growl, with everything that happened today he forgot that it had been sometime since he had a decent meal. He smiled " hunting sounds nice".


Ruby

She had reached her destination before she knew it, a small clearing surrounded by ancient oaks, patches of the mossy ground in the clearing laid disturbed. The Crows in the branches above her head cawed loudly with her approach. She sat at the edge of the clearing letting her gaze drift, a single crow fluttered down a safe distance away. She watched as it hopped a few paces closer to her and cawed. She let out sigh "sorry my friend I have nothing for you today".
