What reasons are there for the Avro Arrow to be cancelled? Because I have to create a debate stance going against the creation of the Avro Arrow, and all I can think of is that it was extremely expensive, and the money could have gone towards something more useful.

You're essentially right, but there's a bunch of wrong-timing type reasons. Try this link, it seems to cover it pretty well. c:

YOUR QUESTION:
Hello Everyone, I am so imbarassed, I am behind in math, by 2 grades this year, I am not even in pre-algebra! Can some one help me learn it, and algebra I need to catch up this year! Or else I will be three grades behind next year. I need help, I am behind cause I have been busy, and I had been held back when I was supposed to go to 1st grade.

I suggest to find a good tutor. If you don't want to spend time on the road then I suggest online tutor, this service tutoronline.net will come in handy. I study French in such way with Tina. She is an awesome teacher.

I HAVE A QUESTION!
TYPE OF QUESTION: Geography
YOUR QUESTION: So we have to write a poem. It's about how the world was created (if you're religious and going to write it about God, I honestly don't mean any offence, but I mean the Big Bang) and I cannot write it. I've been agonizing over it for AGES and nothing online helps. Oh, and it's due in tomorrow.

I don't see why not, but I honestly don't think very many people who need the help will see/read your post. I think most people tend to ask their question(s) and then just check back for answers. They're not regularly browsing the thread. ^^

lol that's true but I am bored so I am casually browsing the thread!!

I'm not exactly sure what you want help with, as we can't write the poem for you.

My advice would be to pick a few words that are easy to rhyme (such as Big Bang and space), then make a sentence out of them. Then play around with words that rhyme and create sentences like that. Eventually, you should fill out your poem.

(I know not all poems have to rhyme, but that would be an easy type to tackle. Or maybe you could try a series of haikus? Knowing what type of poem you're writing gives you boundaries and structure and could make things easier for you.)

And remember! Your poem doesn't have to be good - it just has to talk about the Big Bang. Laugh about how terrible/funny the poem is later, but sit down and write it now. Just spew out some words. They don't have to be creative or clever. Just write a non-fiction paper that rhymes. ;3

    I HAVE A QUESTION!
    TYPE OF QUESTION: science
YOUR QUESTION: I'll write the whole question as I'm super confused with this.
Electric showers usually have to have their own circuit, connected directly to the consumer unit in a house. A typical electric shower has a power rating of 8.5 kW.
a - What current will the shower use?
b - What size cable will it need?
c - Why do you think showers need their own circuit?

a - I assume you've been given some sort of equation that relates power (which is a known that the problem gave you) to current (the unknown you want to solve). Do you not have an equation like this somewhere.
b - This sounds like something you probably took notes on or should be in your textbook, where it talked about different size cables needed for different power/usages. Have you looked through your book/notes again?
c - This one you'll need to do some of your own thinking, but you've probably been given some sort of information on how circuits work and how they might be impacted by interacting with other circuits that require more or less power? Your answer probably has something to do with that.

I know all of that was really non-specific, but did it help? Or maybe just taking a break from looking at the problem helped?

This is very short advice, but: be specific and clear about what your idea/problem/hypothesis is and try to be concise with this explanation.

This site has a good breakdown of how to write your thesis statement: http://www.cws.illinois.edu/workshop/wr ... ps/thesis/ ^^
