Michelangelo held that pleading look towards Leonardo until his oldest brother agreed to play with them. "Ye-ah!" He exclaimed, going and getting the controller himself this time and tossing it to Leo. "Mario Kart? Aaaanyone opposed?" He looked between the other mutants with him. (Ugh, slight wb ;-;)

"Admittedly, I've never come into contact with these 'Kraang'; however all three of you take them seriously to an extent." Rae smirked, taking a moment to coil up her whip and attach it to her belt. "I shall accompany, I'd like to think I'd at least be of some help." She looked around, and when Aero apologized, the Aspie gave a slow nod of an acceptance- although it seemed more like a warning not to do it again.

Stealth, it was something she had to think for a moment on. Currently she was wearing neutral clothing and quiet shoes- as clicking noises were often a tic for her-, so theoretically she'd be able to get through silently. She was too observant for her own good in all honesty, cameras or soldiers would be something she'd notice. "I don't lead, however I see no overwhelming reasons why my stealth would be poor." She finally answered, absent-mindedly folding her arms.

The first thing she noticed when Raphael spoke up again was that he was the more confident type; and to a certain degree that annoyed her. When he gave a competitively-edged statement to them, she turned her strange red gaze to him with a widened smirk. "You're awfully confident, Raphael. But wouldn't a mutated turtle be more noticeable than a human girl? Even if you are somehow shorter than me."

Once Donnie had finished his explanation, he turned his gaze towards Mikey and Shiya, only to find that their blank expressions indicated they had understood hardly any of what he had just said. Well, Shiya at least; Mikey seemed to understand more towards the end. Either way it looked like the gears were turning in both of their heads, and Donnie simply shook his head. He hadn't thought it was that complicated even by their standards, but then sometimes it was really hard to tell. What seemed elementary to Donatello was usually rocket science to Leo and Raph, so he could only imagine what it must've been like to Mikey.

At any rate, Leo seemed to understand what the violet-masked turtle was saying about decibels and ambient sound, and Leo was the only one who needed to understand anyway, so Donnie didn't trouble himself too much over it. "Don't mention it," he replied in response to Leo's expression of gratitude, albeit an expression that seemed laced with disappointment. Was it just Donnie or did he detect a hint of discontent in the tone of their leader? He might've remarked on it, but this was when Mikey and Shiya invited the eldest brother to come join them in their competitive video games, and the brainiac broke off from his train of thought. Don half-expected Leo to outright decline and retreat back into the dojo, (Donnie himself had been tempted to slip back into his lab like the beaker-happy recluse he was, and had really only agreed to play because he was now in a conciliatory mood) but the turtle in blue surprised him by accepting. Perhaps they were all trying to escape the monotony in their own way.

Donnie honestly didn't really care which game they played, so Mario Kart suited him as well as anything else. He gave a little shrug to indicate to his little brother that he was not opposed, before readjusting his grip on the controller and smirking slightly at the thought of kicking all their shells. Deep down, he knew that out of all his brothers he was not the most skilled at video games, but occasionally his remarkable strategizing skills would help him to pull through and bring him up to par with the others. Ultimately it depended on the game, and racing wasn't strategy-based so much as it was hand-eye-coordination-based; hopefully this didn't mean Donatello's downfall.

"ugh! those idiotic mutant turtles.."the black haired girl yelled out, tone full of wrath, fists slamming against the silver table that displayed blue prints of the overall new york city map. her gaze fixed from each of the prints, grumbling under her breath."foot soldiers!"she called out to her little minions, crossing her arms over her chest. immediately, four black and red suit wearing men entered through the large doors, meeting the slender girl in the colossal hall like dwell."bring me the prints of central park and brooklyn bridge.."she commanded with her frigid voice, turning away from the table and leaning against it."yes, ma'am!"their expressions told otherwise, yet they didn't dare waste their breaths. they bowed their heads before exiting in a tight file."i've gotten armies of kraang and still those mugs are alive.."karai's golden brown eyes contracted with vex. her patience was growing thin, finger tapping against her elbow."assassination.. that would work.. maybe.. maybe not.."the slender girl exchanged ideas, collecting details and inspections that she memorized by hand."poison.. no.."thoughts ate at her mind, anything to prevent the heroic four animals from being the victor."maybe a alliance with another delinquency group.."karai pressed her lips together, almost running out of schemes. after the moments of silence, her minions returned, holding two of the blue prints she ordered for. karai turned back to the table as the maps were placed down and spread out."all the places the turtles don't bother on checking.. yet.."with the four men staying by her side, her hand reached for her tanto, with swift movements the blade of the weapon stabbed into the table."the heart of the city.. soldiers, bring in mathian."she clearly frightened her minions, having them leave in an instant.

with the sky midnight black, the stars seemed to be all scattered across the upper atmosphere. a rather stunning panorama. even with the streets dead and silence over the city, anything could be roaming in each corner of the municipality. specifically one. the lean frame of a boy flew across the lifeless rooftops of buildings, accuracy and persistence calculated in both mind and eyes. his colorless cloak soared as he proceeded with his movements. it was pleasantly quiet, at least for the boy, rowan. the blue of his snake orbs inspected the empty alleys, for him the relaxing tranquility was anxiety filling, even a little bit. the blonde haired boy stopped in tracks, kneeling down on the ledge of the summit."it's too quiet."rowan restlessly mumbled to himself and his sword. people may think, why would he be talking to an item, weapon. his sword was sort of a mutant demon, he was unable to speak but could easily hear. it was complicated to explain further, so rowan was never the one to waste his breath on clarification. the moderate gale brushed through his blonde hair, embracing in like a hug. rowan's gaze darted from one point to another, cautiousness taking the best of him. he raised from his knees to his feet, leaping off the ledge to bring himself in the next awaiting rooftop. his actions were graceful, concentration read off of his features and posture. however, being a one man army wasn't the best option for rowan, he'd always rather have someone by his side. indeed he had his sword, but that didn't exactly work very well as planned.

Leonardo

Leo flopped onto the couch and caught the controller Mikey threw to him. "Mario Kart is good." Leo said. He didn't play all that often but this one he was at least a bit familiar with. Leo picked Dry Bones to be his character and smirked a little at the irony. The sewer turtle is a sand turtle now. When the race started Leo was pressing on the gas and his turtle cart spun out. "What the heck!" Leo said as everyone else zoomed past. So from last place everything just got worse. Leo's cart was repeatedly run into walls or just off the track where he fell further and further into the abyss. By the end of the race Leo came in a good minute behind everyone else and was muttering curses that Master Splinter would smack him for if he heard. "This game is retarded." Leo grouched. Normally he could beat someone at video games. And that someone was Raph. Maybe he could convince him to come play, then he at least wouldn't be last place and beating his hot headed brother would make him feel better about losing to the other two. "Where's Raph at?" He asked the others.

Mikey looked over at Leo when the turtle leader sat down, and with no objections to Mario Kart he went to select a character. In the end he settled with Kirby(Is that an MK character? xD Last time I played was literal MONTHS ago). The youngest turtle was entirely ready to beat all of them, almost the second the race actually started he found himself laughing hysterically.

"Guess somebody needs to practice more!" He commented in Leonardo's direction; laughing harder and harder the more his older brother messed up. To the point that he wound up in third place since he kept looking at the blue-clad turtle's screen portion instead of his own. "Aww, I came in third because a' you!" He whined rather childishly as he finished up his laps.

"You're just saying that 'cause you suck at it." He made the final Playful jab towards Leo, before actually thinking a moment on his next question. "Uh, he got mad at Donnie- don't ask me why, I dunno-, and went to his room." Mikey answered, looking off towards where he knew his hot-headed brother was; or so he thought, at lest.

Donatello hunkered down over his controller as he selected his character; he decided Koopa Troopa was somewhat befitting. Several equations actually flashed before the genius's eyes as the countdown to begin the race started and giant orange numbers floated to the surface of the screen. 3, 2... Donnie had learned from simple observation that pressing down on the gas precisely 2.4 seconds before the countdown ended would result in a substantial speed boost right out the gate. As he applied pressure to the appropriate button with his thumb, his tongue peeked out from his mouth in a show of concentration.

...2, 1, START!

He blasted onto the race track, taking second place for a solid sixty seconds, before someone nailed him with a red shell and he fell behind Mikey and into fourth. "Darnit!" Thankfully, Mikey seemed to be distracted and it wasn't hard to overtake him again. Leo was looking very distraught over the way things were not going in his favor, in typical Leo-fashion, and it appeared that this had caught an amused Michelangelo's attention. However, Donnie, sage as always, was intent on remaining focused, and unlike Mikey, never once did he spare a glance at another player's screen.

At the end of the race, he shot up and cackled. "Second place!" All things considered, second place out of eight players (counting CPUs) was an exceptional result to the purple-masked brainiac. After executing a brief victory dance, Donnie glanced at his brothers, who were either complaining about the results or insulting the game itself. The second-youngest sibling spread his mouth wide in a gap-toothed grin, resting one hand on his hip. "Oh, come on. You guys are both sore losers. Emphasis on the word 'loser'. Haha!" And he threw back his head in a dorky laugh. Truth be told, Donnie wasn't used to winning in competitions against his brothers, and so on the rare occasions when he did, his eyes would widen with slack-jawed surprise before he descended into snorting fits of laughter, teasing and gloating... then, distracted by his own "greatness", he would end up doing something embarrassing that essentially negated his victory, like trip over a banana peel or something equally stupid.

When Leo inquired about Raph's whereabouts, Donnie opened his mouth to reply, before snapping it shut, since Mikey was already explaining. The brainiac didn't much like how open-ended his baby brother had left it, and felt obligated to add, "Raph's just being his hotheaded self. I only told him to leave my lab because he was breaking stuff and he just blew up! It's not my fault he can't control himself." The purple-masked terrapin hefted his own shoulders in an innocent shrug. "But yeah, he's in his room. If you losers are tired of losing to me then I suppose we could go—oW!" Donatello had begun to strut away from the TV, only to get his ankle caught on one of the console's wires and come crashing to the ground with a painful thud. Now he didn't even want to lift his burning face off the ground to look at his brothers, and so he just lay there flat on the floor for a few moments, trying to calculate if there was any way to salvage the moment. Nope, moment officially ruined. He groaned into the floor.

And you call yourself a ninja! I am the epitome of grace. Honestly the only upside to this was that Casey, Raph and April weren't there to see it.

Link was glad that Raph and Rae seemed up to the task, even after she had suggested stealth. It didn't seem to be Raphael's preferred method of doing things, and his body language made this clear, yet he was willing to go along with it anyway. This seemed plenty noble in Link's eyes, but then, perhaps she was simply too naïve to discern ulterior motives such as letting off steam. She shook her head. Better not to distract herself with such roundabout thoughts anywho.

She canted her head to the side when the red-banded terrapin seemed to be instigating conflict, particularly with his taunting remark aimed at the other two girls. The pinkette could not for the life of her understand why anyone would feel the need to promote discord within a group; this could only hinder the mission, and she looked on with disapproving blue eyes. The fact that Rae had returned Raph's quip with another quip and then some probably meant the banter would only escalate from here unless Link intervened. The alien girl stepped into the space between them and narrowed her blue eyes. "We do not have the time for insult exchanges," she pointed out. Then, turning to Raelynn, "Yes, the Kraang should be taken seriously. They are dangerous. But I know much of them. Leave the leading to me."

Leo gave Donnie a dry look as he gloated about winning second and Mikey an even drier look as his taunts still continued. Mikey's news about Raph didn't surprise him much. Raph seemed to be grouchier than ever these days. Donnie continued the explanation and Leo listened carefully just in case he was going to have to parent a situation later on. But as Don got up he wasn't looking at the controller. Leo saw it a second before his foot caught the cord and then the tumble. Leo instantly was on his side holding his plastron as he laughed. "Watch out it's Clutzetello!" He said laughing even harder at his own joke.

Michelangelo admittedly hadn't been taking the game seriously at all ever since the blue-masked turtle first messed up; far more entertained by this than he would be a normal game. But Donatello- from the glances he spared his older brother- seemed to be deeply into it. What a shame, he coulda' seen Leo just about rage quit! The thought caused him to snicker, as he looked from the scoreboard to the others.

When Donnie spoke again- this time to him and Leo-, the immature turtle turned his head to look at him. "Well at least I wasn't the one insulting the game, just Leo's skills." The friendly jabs he gave were ones delivered with a large grin. "Don't get too cocky though, D. Next round I'll kick your shell for sure, without Leo being a distraction!" The youngest brother laughed, dropping the controller in his lap to place both hands behind his head in a relaxed manner.

"Figures," he said in reply to the next statement given on Raphael, rolling his baby blue eyes. "Ever since we got stuck down here he's been more Raph-y than usual." Mikey shrugged, only half-aware of how dumb the comment could have sounded. The orange-masked turtle couldn't deny that he himself had been the one bouncing up the walls, finding himself with far too much energy; which had already lead to one instance of throwing water balloons at anyone he could see. Which, unfortunately for him, included Master Splinter.

Yet his train of thought was cut off immediately when Donnie started speaking yet again, and while he was ready to make up a comeback, the entire thought left his mind as he saw the purple-masked turtle fall flat onto his face. "Who's losin' now?" He laughed for a few seconds at this as well, before taking a closer look and realizing that his older brother hadn't yet picked himself back up. His expression changed, with his mouth moving to the right in an unsure expression. "Don? Ya okay over there?" Yet of course, as soon as Leo made his next comment Mikey was back into laughing hysterically.

Donnie could feel his embarrassment rising with each passing second that he spent face-down on the floor, and so he finally planted his palms on the ground and pushed himself up. Feeling utterly scorched inside and out by his brothers' relentless laughing and teasing, he scowled and defaulted to his 'indignant genius' approach. "These cords are a hazard!" he snapped defensively, becoming more flustered at the 'Clutzetello' remark. Usually using big words and scientific terms would win Donatello any argument simply by boring or confusing the other side into submission, but their laughing was making it increasingly difficult for even the genius to take himself seriously. "This is why we need to find ourselves a completely wireless console! I would modify this one but I'd need to install an infra-red light emitter to carry the electromagnetic energy and that would mean scavenging for more parts..." He could've gone on but he pursed his lips. "I'm fine, thanks, Mikey." He was pleasantly surprised by his little brother's seemingly genuine concern, but it quickly dissipated when the orange-masked turtle descended into fits of laughter again, and Don's expression drooped into an exasperated frown. "Now where's Raph?" he asked rather abruptly, desperate for a change of subject. His voice almost sounded an octave higher as he dusted himself off. "Hey, Raph!" he called, shriller than usual, in an ironic attempt to draw the attention away from himself. "Raph!" The purple-masked turtle strode towards Raph's room, and, once again, rapped loudly on the door. Several times he thought of trying to open the door, but he would not be the one to incur his older brother's wrath for trespassing. He wasn't feeling that brave. Instead, he merely shot his fearless leader an expectant look, as though silently inviting the eldest turtle to try the door himself.

It didn't help when Donatello grew more defensive, as that only caused Michelangelo to laugh harder until he was gasping for air. How something like this amused him so much? The mutant had no idea. When he suggested a wireless console the youngest brother wasn't entirely against it, however after only a few words found himself bored; only really listening in again when Donnie had cut his technical talk off. Mikey smiled in response to his older brother stating he was okay after he'd managed to calm himself down, before standing up.

Raph? Mikey was in no rush to coax out his hot-tempered brother at the moment, but apparently Leo and Donnie thought differently. He shrugged- for seemingly no reason to those around him-, before following after the tallest turtle in slow strides. Yet he had an idea, one which caused him to grow a devious grin and rush into the kitchen. Maybe, just maybe... He had been trying to lighten the mood diligently for as long as they'd been down here, and his next plan to do so involved a very unlucky Raphael...
