✦ Lips faintly parted, the dragon slowly but surely fell into unconsciousness before both Jace and Light dragged him up toward the surface. The pressure on his body, lifting the higher up they swam, water whooshed over his solemn face, and bubbles gradually appearing less, and less, as oxygen was stripped from his strangled lungs. They ached and squirmed as he gave into the lagoon. He subconsciously could no longer feel the water's build up in his system as it empowered him and even as the dragoness and the two dragons breached the surface frightfully, no air returned in him. He remained, lifeless, and limp. Water filled his lungs.
Light and Jace passed a few words between each other, but, the Alpha's senses had been entirely cut from the outside world, he was hanging on the brink between two stages helplessly, and as the white dragons aided him to the edge, his grip further faded and with a slow keeling forward of his head, his drenched scales shimmered under brilliant the glare of the lagoon and he was helped to land, Jace's strength was enough to keep afloat. Dark Shadow found himself brushing against a granite wall, and as he was hauled onto land he had officially lost all consciousness. Muzzle slightly ajar, talons curled and dropping, his neck gently twisted to the side, the black dragon's expression, slack. He did not react to the air. ✦

The lead commander threw his sights onto the village and watched it smolder, just as a person enjoyed to watch the stars, or a painting. Echȍn was slow to look at the fiery headed woman as she asked a modest question of him, "are you nervous to ask these Elf kind to stay for the night?.." A slow look crept onto his face and he turned the other cheek, quietly. His brows gently cupped together as he 'mmed.' The sound rolled off his chest like a breath. "Not for myself, but, my kind have built up a hatred to outsiders. So I'm not sure I wouldn't want you to get killed. But...you know, our hatred is not without reason. Shemlen slaughter our kin, destroy the land...their touch is-is..." He realized he was getting off track and sealed his lips with a solemn look, the hatred for humans festering back into his ribs, feeding off his every word until his irises glinted. 'I must not do this...' He told himself. 'I must keep control, as the Ancients, and those before have told me. Keep my head out of hatred...breathe.' The elf found his sights slip further from Fawn now. The cold nipped at his pointed ears. ✣

She crawled onto the surface, breathing heavily, her body shaking from working herself over her limit. She looked over at Azena for a moment, seeing her chest rise and fall then her eyes shifted to Dark. She stared for a moment, before coming closer quickly, then she shifted into her human form. "Dark," her voice cracked, pushing her hair out of her, opening his eye quickly, before shifting back into her dragon form. She placed her front claws on his chest and pushed down several times before going up and breathed air into him. She actually hesitated for a second, if it were okay, but you know, he's practically dying. Right? She did this repeatedly, and each time, she doubted herself a bit more and more.

She continues to just lay in place,seemingly ignoring what was going on outside of her mind. She was still slightly unconscious,enough to not being able to wake yet. The back of Anezä's skull was still throbbing painfully and this is what was keeping her asleep,she didn't want to feel the full pain by being awake even if it was starting to fade away. After a small while she opens her eyes a bit once again before looking around to see Jace and Light standing next to a big dark shape laying across the stony ground. "D-dark?...is he alright?..,"she tries to lift her head up but it still hurt a bit and so she lays it back down. "Will he be alright?..."

Muscari blinked, hearing Seth announce the solution in a confident manner. 'Just wing it? What is that supposed to mean!? Did he say that because she is a dragon hatchling? Let's just get out of this place.. I can't stand the smoke.' Muscari squeezed the reins, Dog stepping back from the flaming buildings. There were the burning bodies of the unlucky, ranging from the youngest to the oldest. Heart twisting, he forced his gaze to Seth, aware of what rested underneath the helmet. Making Dog turn, he pulled the horse by the reins, watching the flames making the people redder with flame stains. This was all happening because of him. If he had only said no, they would not have to face Erin with guilty hands, they wouldn't have to deal with this kid. But if he had said no, where would he be now? Head chopped off, humiliated in front of the other guards and knights for disobeying orders, tortured? Who's life costed more? The people of the village, or his own? The guard blinked, glancing back at where the girl was trying to escape. He slid off the horse, going behind Dog to pick up the girl and prompt her back onto the saddle. "Don't worry. Just stay still and we can kidnap you much more easily, unless you want us to behead you, what would not go well." He spoke in a casual tone, as if he had done this before.

And then it that meager chuckle began to crescendo into a laugh, until, tears welled in his eyes and he broke down into an abrupt string of laughter, the Knight commander keeled forward on his horse in an uproar. Then, it died down and he gestured brushing away a tear. Seth breathed out heavy through his cracked lips. 'Look at me,' he chuckled, 'I'm a mess.' There was a rotting silence following his laughs, and the sound of hooves across gravel as they made their way up the trail, and into the trees. As the sounds of screams fell into the background, so did Bloody-Bone's smile. "Do you think there were any witnesses," The commander asked Muscari and threw him a cross look. That humor just seconds dissipated his tone to a menacing crackle. "If we get caught...Musky...I'm blaming you for this dilemma." 'Sure I could easily blame little baby dragon over here, but, now that I think about it, I would prefer...Muscari...' Sliding his gaze out ahead of his horse, as the darkness fell across his face, he thought screamingly to himself, 'mmm...I kind of like Muscari, but he has outlived his welcome. And....I can smell....his defiance.' Perhaps that was him being paranoid, but when Seth caught a whiff of him - he could smell deep down - that Grapes, had rather good common sense. His tone was bitter, the thoughts before shoving out of the way. Muscari hissed softly, Dog seeming to understand the scene, the horse snickering annoyingly. A frown was on his face, the guard feeling annoyed how Seth was so quick to say he will blame him for this. 'Oh, dear. Seth is going to kill me. That's something he would do, he is crazy enough to burn a village that belongs to the king.' His right hand slowly slid down to the sword's handle, gripping it tightly, Muscari bracing himself. His face scrunched, the guard straightening his back as Dog slowed down, the horse's ears perking with interest. The anger continued to burn like the fire set flame in the village, memories of the training to become a guard since he was around the age six burning strongly in his mind. The Knight's eye twitched, along with his lips. 'Ohhh...' He mused and turned his stallion around, whom snorted thickly and shuddered its blackened pelt. 'Now I'm tempted, to squash - this pesky annoyance.' Gleaming under the now rising moonlight, Seth Bones approached Muscari like the grim reaper itself. His sword struck the night sky as it was shifted. There was a foreboding aspect to him, even to his cape which flowed slowly in the wind, this was a very dangerous game, and while Seth was playing, Muscari had not been. "Caarefuuuul, boyyy," His grin twisted beneath the helmet disguise, his voice, whisked and ghostly. "Don't be getting a brain now, Musky, what I say goes. And what I want - happens." Noticing the defensive posture the Knight now had, Seth lifted one hand elegantly, and flicked his pointer finger side to side in a 'nuh uh' motion. "I give you a word of advice, since you have are so dear to me - watch your head....before you lose it. Now come to my side and be an obedient pet." ⚜

"Not for myself, but, my kind have built up a hatred to outsiders. So I'm not sure I wouldn't want you to get killed. But...you know, our hatred is not without reason. Shemlen slaughter our kin, destroy the land...their touch is-is..." He realized he was getting off track and sealed his lips with a solemn look, the hatred for humans festering back into his ribs, feeding off his every word until his irises glinted. 'I must not do this...' He told himself. 'I must keep control, as the Ancients, and those before have told me. Keep my head out of hatred...breathe.' The elf found his sights slip further from Fawn now. The cold nipped at his pointed ears. ✣

She crawled onto the surface, breathing heavily, her body shaking from working herself over her limit. She looked over at Azena for a moment, seeing her chest rise and fall then her eyes shifted to Dark. She stared for a moment, before coming closer quickly, then she shifted into her human form. "Dark," her voice cracked, pushing her hair out of her, opening his eye quickly, before shifting back into her dragon form. She placed her front claws on his chest and pushed down several times before going up and breathed air into him. She actually hesitated for a second, if it were okay, but you know, he's practically dying. Right? She did this repeatedly, and each time, she doubted herself a bit more and more.

✦ Nothing passed through his system, and Dark's body began shutting down, his heart's choking thumps slowed dramatically until it did nothing but purr. The black dragon, mind melting away into an abyss of the unknown, his muscles gave away, but with his warmth still intact, Light compressed her palms into his chest, compressing his ribs to stir some life into him. As this hadn't worked a few times. There was a heavy look to her face and she drew forward, touching her lips to his, breathing into his lungs. Her air moved into his lungs, but there was nothing. Bit by bit, her hastiness slowed. Dark was not responding.
The Alpha still had his muzzle gently turned to the side, breathlessly, and lifelessly. Then on her near last attempt, suddenly, a touch of life coursed through his veins and the oxygen stirred the fluids in his lungs. The black dragon's eyelids swung open and he keeled over, hurling the water from his system, choking on it before shaking there, and falling backward, shifting down to his human form in a groan. His black hair glistening over his face, Dark Shadow inhaled thickly, eyes were still clouded in shock but gradually, came back to life. He inched up into a sit, still awfully dazed, and shook his head, taking another breath of torture. His lungs were burning. 'I don't know what happened...' The man passed a growl at its sting. ✦
