antbite nodded and began walking back to camp. once they stepped into the camp's entrance the Tom felt bored again. He walked toward the pile of not so fresh kill and placed the fresh rabbit on top of the others. He then say down and flicked his tail, "what now?"


poppythorn looked at fallenpaw's work with her one good eye and she was pleased. "nice job fallenpaw." the she cat purred flicking her fluffy tail as she laid in her best relaxing with what time she had left to relax.

Grizzlypaw's attention was plucked away from his various thoughts when Fallenpaw made a hasty retreat from the safety of the medicine cat den. Ah, finally! Someone to talk to. He began to rise to his paws, giving his pelt a thorough shake to release any hidden particles and to get some blood flowing through his limbs again. Grizzly stretched out each limb with a magnificent yawn, feeling the energy coursing back into him after the momentary period of silence. As soon as he was done, he started out towards the last known location of Fallen only to find she was already gone. The solid tom paused mid-step, confusion giving him the look of a dazed squirrel. Where . . . wait, what? His mind toiled with possibilities, wondering how anyone could move so fast, unless . . . Oh! She must have just gone back in. Fresh air, perhaps?
Grizzly gleefully bounced towards the entrance of the medicine cat den, slinking in around the edges to poke his cranium through the opening to hopefully surprise anyone inside. "Yoo-hoo, anyone home?"

 Fallenpaw looked up at her mentor and purred happily, she always felt so much better when Poppythorn was around."I heard Goldenstar is announcing the new deputy soon." She mewed as she began wrapping the cobwebs around the front of the stick. A voice startled her, she sighed in relief as she realised it was only just Grizzlypaw. "We're both here." She mewed softly.

 Aspentail placed her rabbit next to Antbite's and looked back up at him, she purred playfully "I don't know, what do you want to do?" She said as she gave him a plauful glance. (Writers block O.o)

antbite shrugged and let out a small yawn, "I don't know that's why I asked you," the Tom chuckled then gently pawed her face. "would you like to share tongues?"


"really? I can't wait to see who the deputy is." poppythorn purred then heard a young Tom's voice. She turned around and saw that it was grizzlypaw, "greetings grizzlypaw!" the scarred she cat purred gently.

"I don't mean to intrude, but I think I have a case of bored-i-ni-tus, or . . . lone-some-eee-ous," he stated cheerfully, pausing and crinkling his muzzle as he pronounced the fake illnesses slowly. Grizzly had not really planned on thinking of one beforehand, so he merely settled on the ones he came up with right then and there. "I am looking for a cure!" Grizzly completed with a sincere dip of his head, slinking inside to merely plop down in the middle of the cave. He rolled onto his back, letting out a mock groan. "I am not doing so good, doc." Grizzly just wanted someone to talk to, or, even, he would fetch a few herbs for them if they needed.

 The she-cat rolled her eyes playfully. She walked over to Grizzlypaw and brushed her tail along his shoulder. "You can stay with us if you like." She mewed as she looked back over at Poppythorn. "Same here, I wonder who will be picked!" She purred excitedly.

 She purred, she was actually having a reasonably good time for a long time in her life. She began grooming Antbite just behind his ears where some of the dirt from rabbit hunting had flung up.

antbite began to purr when he felt aspentail's tongue behind his ear. He started to groom aspentail's neck fur back in place because it looks slightly messy to him, "aspentail may I ask you a question?" the ginger Tom asked flicking his tail a bit.
[I'm gonna have antbite tell aspentail that he likes her I hope that doesn't ruin any plans you had with her ;w;]


poppythorn chuckled and stood up getting to the herbs fallenpaw had just brought in. She began sorting them out into the right pile of herbs. poppythorn was always a very organised she cat, due to her o.c.d, which made her a wonderful medicine cat. "maybe fallenpaw and I could give you a special herb I call entertainment," she replied to grizzlypaw with a chuckle.

 She purred, she had felt before that her neck fur was ruffled and she's never been flexible enough to reach it. She briefly stopped grooming Antbite to speak. "Sure ask away." She purred before she resumed grooming his fur.

"Staying here sounds perfectly fine with me," he purred in an enthusiastic manner, pushing himself to his paws after his little enactment. His plan had worked. Fake illnesses were always the best way to go. The two little antennae on his head, whereas most choose to call them ears, tuned in on the last bit of info he heard Fallen mention. "Deputy? I had forgotten all about that! Soon, then? I cannot wait to see who will be chosen." Grizzly could ramble on and on about the deputy position. It was, after all, his dream to one day be a deputy, maybe even leader, but first, he had to make it to warrior status. Sometimes Grizzly felt warrior-ship was always just dangling in front of him; like a piece of Freshkill on a stick, but when someone went to grab it, it was just ever-so-slightly pulled out of his reach.
Grizzly turned his attention to Poppythorn, amusement fluttering into his features signaling a wide grin and an ecstatic grin. "Aha! That is exactly what I need. All cured! You two are both miracle workers, ya know that?" His illness just seemed to melt away. How funny was that? It was as if it was fake all along.

antbite stopped grooming her to speak, he but don't look up, " um, what if I said I have a crush on you... ?" he asked not sure how to ask his question or admit to liking her, "well um, I really like you... No, um.." the Tom paused his feelings for this she was deeper than that, taking a deep breath he finally looked up at the she, "i-i love you aspentail and I would really love of you became my mate.." he spoke in a gentle voice but still unsure about how aspentail would reply.


poppythorn noticed that the the borage leaves were low and she has ran out of honey, she needed fallenpaw to go back out but she didn't want her to go alone. " grizzlypaw, would you like to come with fallenpaw and i? We are going out of the camp to search for borage leaves and some honey. We really could use some help, that is if your up for the task." she purred gently then looked over at fallenpaw.
