Lucy: Gathers with her mate and daughters to celebrate the night and have hot cocoa and exchange gifts. She usually cuddles up with Willow and watches the fire place as they give each other socks. Claire, because of college comes home a few days after Christmas.
Izzy: Isabelle is usually in charge of organizing a huge gala for all the shadowhunters. She gets dressed inelegant gouns and spends the night talking to all the invited. She always counts on the help of Wanda, who she calls MiniMe.
Zuri: Spends the night with her children traditionally and goes around taking photos of everything.
Kodie: Not decided
Tamira: Tamira goes to coffee houses where there are meetings and small parties. They take gifts for a secret santa thing they have.
Anthony: As he is quite the loner, Tony spends his night designing things and inventing toys that are later given to children in hospitals.

finch doesnt really but when they do, they end up having a slice of cake with a tasteful glass of wine.
cassia likes to knit herself some sweaters and makes little trinkets for the kids near her.
elliot tends to just wander around as always n doesnt really celebrate, but always ends up acquiring a plate of food or a sweater or something.
sepia bakes goods and has a little party with her friends most of the time, as well as helping cassia knit and crochet stuff.
mercury always just muches on some cookies and some coffee, and uses it as an excuse to get more games and computers.
callisto doesnt really celebrate, but they like to call their family and wish everyone a happy new year, and feeding their pets more treats than normal
cal generally just snuggles w api and drinks hot cocoa, but i dont think theyd celebrate much
kanoa enjoys decorating her palm trees and giving out smoothies and snacks to other kias, and leaving out festive treats for the wildlife. they also do a yearly christmas parkour thing (lmao)
audobon tends to stay in and not celebrate

finch wouldnt mind smooching their new pet cat or their birds
cassia, sepia, callisto, mercury, and audobon are all too tired and weary to do much relationship wise

elliot is quite literally 12 years old and would be too young to do anything

finch never really did, but has been tricked into believing that by internet friends a few years back. it was wild and they were super worn out at the time
cassia did up until she was 8 years old
elliot never did cause ghosts are terrible for young kias like that
sepia did until cassia told her that no, santa didnt exist. she was 7.
mercury didnt really, but tried multiple times to explain why santa didnt exist to their 2nd grade class. no one believed them.
callisto did until they were 9!
cal did, living a oretty sheltered life, so they believed up to the age of 8
kanoa never believed
audobon wasnt too interested in holidays stuff, si they believed until they were around 5

venus enjoys the holiday but isn't super enthusiastic about it (she might just put up a string of lights in front of her shop)
sierra loves christmas! she super into all/most holidays and puts up a ton of decorations and hosts small festive events

this is super hard to choose but id have to say sierra! (here) tbh i like venus's design/colors more but sierra's character is a lot more fleshed out

[she's a tour guide in places around lake baikal, russia. sierra is really friendly and likes meeting new people from around the world -- especially teaching children (similar to a 'cool older sister'). however, she's quick to judge someone and holds silent grudges very easily. she's great at small talk but it's hard for her to make new close friends or relationships. her tours usually consist of a brief lecture on the history of the region, and is mainly about the plants, animals, and landscape of wherever she's working. currently sierra is around 19-21 years old and is taking online education courses. she aspires to one day be able to do tour guiding in many other ("more interesting" to her) parts of the world.]

Dave and John make pound cakes and bake in general, and when they're done baking Dave taxidermies an animal and gives them a festive flare with a tiny Santa hat or a pair of antlers.

Aaron and his family all open one present before they go to bed, and open the rest the next morning! The children also make "reindeer food", which Aaron swears brings the reindeer.

Dante spends the holiday with his mate, Marco, talking about how their year went by and what they could do next year.

Ombra and Uldren get each other gifts and spend the day doing things as a couple.
