Welcome to the Character Adoption Addicts Anonymous's 1st annual Candy Coalition!
The Candy Coalition is modeled after the original Christmas Corp, hosted by Chia, which has not taken place since 2013. I began to miss its absence and decided this would be a great event to introduce to the CAAA! This event is only for CAAA members, but we automatically accept any and all forms to join, and we would love to have you! The Candy Coalition is an opportunity to get free art during the December holiday season from generous and hard-working artists who have been working behind closed doors to create exclusive linearts for the event! Each of the artists has taken the time to create their own lineart(s) and have been keeping them a secret, not only from the public, but also from each other! The artists take no compensation for their work. They are offering you completely 100% free art and receiving no benefit from it.

When ordering, please be mindful of this factor. Artists are under no obligation to complete your art if something comes up, and each reserves the right to decline any order for any reason they see fit. December is a busy, busy time for everyone!

Rules
If you don't read these, you won't receive any art.

You may only order TWICE per day. That means any artist, any lineart, only twice per 24 hours.

You may only order from each lineart ONCE. That means you may not get the same lineart colored twice.

You must follow the artists' individual preferences. If they refuse to do complex characters or edits, they WILL not complete an order that contains them.

Respect the artists and be polite and courteous. Do not attempt to bribe artists, do not order from a lineart when slots are clearly full, do not rush or ask about the progress an artist has made on your piece, do not whine, and do not guilt trip. These behaviors will result in immediate revocation of your privilege to receive free art.

Not your art? Don't claim it.

No 'marking' posts or other spam, one-word posts, etc. Use the bookmark function at the bottom of the forum instead!

If any other issues come up, they will be addressed accordingly.

Q & A

Question: May I order for a friend?

Yes you may! But this will still count towards your 2-a-day total and your once-per-lineart limit.

Question: Is it too late to join?

Yes, signups were open for about a month on DA. Keep your eyes peeled, though, as they will be held again next year!

Question: What does 2 per day mean?

It means twice per 24 hours according to server/Chicken Smoothie time.

At the time, I am not offering lineart edits! Sorry! I also reserve the right to turn down any characters I find too complex or references I find unclear.

The banner is optional and can include any text in any color! The reindeer antlers are not optional but may be recolored if requested.

COMPLETED ORDERS WILL BE POSTED ON THE THREAD and in pick-ups! I will always post your username along with the art when I post it, so you can use the search function to find your finished art if you don't want to stalk the thread!

Offering small edits, ears and tails mainly, will not add anything such as
accessories, wings, extra limbs, etc.

I can remove the candy cane if wished. Santa hat is not optional though!
I can change the color of either to what you wish, simple designs or flat colors though!
If you want a specific color please post an example color or palette!
If you simply say "Green" I will choose whatever shade of green I feel fits best with your character
If you don't mention you want it changed it will stay as is.

I also reserve the right to turn down any characters I find too complex or references I find unclear,
but will give you a chance to clarify any unclear references!
It will be rare for me to turn down complex characters, as I'm willing to attempt near anything.

I will PM you when I have finished, as well as update the pick-up of course,
if you cannot receive pm's for any reason please state so in your form and I can create a fake trade or note you on da!

Heyo! I'm sorry but I'm not taking any lineart edits at the moment! I also won't change the species.
So canine characters only or characters which you don't mind to be canine!
Also please notice that the end-piece will be smaller than the shown picture!
