how would you feel if you knew war is about to come into action?
not just that, but happen right in your own backyard? To hear the
sounds of missiles propelling through the air, the sounds of firing
machine guns or rifles, to hear the sounds of fellow family, and f
riends pleads for mercy and forgiveness for things they do not kno
w they have done. Such innocence and pain embedded in one si
tuation.

All for what? a couple of young adults? Pathetic!

Although, so called "young adults" all have been different from the b
eginning when they all were born. What is that? Well, they have p
owers no other human thought was possible to possess. The abilit
y to control a particular element and one other minor power. If yo
u ask me, they are a very exciting discovery. Only bad thing is that
they have never once used their powers. Either because they didn'
t know how to or they just couldn't get it working. Either way, they
couldn't use their powers at the time. Nor would the government a
llow them to, out of fear and protection of every other humans saf
ety. Who knows what powers these adults had? Let alone would de
vastating affects they possessed.

The Russians heard about them living in Australia. They took this op
portunith to attack. They wanted the power for themselves, and to
use the adults as weapons of their own. It was chaos for months in
end. It is no wonder a lot of people didn't make it. They managed to
capture the adults and lock them away in a very protected and high
security facility. It is practically impossible to escape. Practically.

Will the young adults escape before it's too late? If they do, will they
properly learn to master their powers? Or will they just end up harm
zing each other rather than the enemy?

So many questions unanswered. Only time will tell what the answers
will be.

( nname ) luci, satan, prince of hell & andy

[ TAGGED ] NO ONE [ MENTIONS ] SAADI, ZEEK, TOBIAS
the young male sat in his cell, his hands held out in front of him as the shadows seemed to dance around in front of. They almost seemed to be alive and doing their own thing before the tall six foot three male. A bead of sweat began to trickle down his temple, using all of his concentration to focus. Had been at this for twenty minutes now, a record for him and the group since most of the ground found it rather difficult to do anything with their powers. Only having the ability to do a bit here and there. the group was a unique group of power wielders, like lucifer himself. All having unique set of abilities, not one being the same. Having this ever since they were born, that were never allowed to wield or use their abilities. This is because if could harm the safety of others, since they didn't fully understand what their abilities were and how to control them. with their abilities, came power. That is why the Russians had attacked Australia, where they lived. Now, the war resulted in Australia losing and the power wielders to be captured and held hostage. The Russians wanting them to use their powers and become powerful, so they could use them as weapons.

Lucifer growled at the thought and he lost his concentration, the darkness departing. He yelled out in clear frustration, hitting the aggressively. "you've got to be kidding me?" he cursed viciously and darkly, as he spun off a series of cursed phrases that can only be described as him swearing or going off his nut. He hit his head against the wall as he muttered a series of uncomprehendable words. He balled his fist up so much his knuckles went white. It was so frustrating, trying to control his power, it would be for all of the members of the group. But it seemed like he was struggling the most and finding it diffcult to be able to control it at all. It was discouraging to see the other progressively becoming better than him, and it only made him more determined. But it did have its downfalls and it only made him exhausted and annoyed with himself.

Turning away from the fall, he adjusted the thight down up one piece suit of some sort. It was apparently appropriate for them using powers and it was fire proof, aerodynamic and all that jazz that lucifer couldn't give a crap about. He sighed as he walked over to the steal door, that held him inside, with only one small rectangular viewing window. The rest of the room was white and made him feel as though he was in some sort of mental asylum. He bashed on the door, "hey! I don't appreciate being locked in here all day!" he yelled as loud as he can, as he put a hand underneath the collar that he had around his neck. All the of the group had one, most were electric pulses but for tobias, it would be different he guessed. But he wasn't sure. He didn't speak to the guy anymore. So how would he know. At the mention of tobias only mademoiselle his blood boil and his anger begin to sky rocket. But once a upon a time, lucifer would have done anything for that sorry excuse of a friend, but now? Heck to the no, he wouldn't ever help the guy. He was on his own.

Suddenly hearing the loud clung of the door opening, he took a step back and saw the door grind open. Revealing a group, heavily suited with protection for his own safety. "about time. Surely you wouldn't want one your powerful weapons to starve and die, do you?" he smirked at the guard and quirkered up an eyebrow at him. The guard simple gave him the repetitive run down of not to step out of line, or there wouldn't be consequences. And well, lucifer knew that quite well. When he first got locked away he had tried everything in his power to escape, but all for himself. He hadn't of course, but has many scars and bruises to prove his fail attempts. However, overtime, he had begun to talk to the group, especially Saadi and together they had come with a plan of escape. Today was the day. It was now or never. It all would begin with them going to the cafeteria for lunch or whatever time of day it was. Lucifer has lost track of if begin coped up in the white cell. He felt his own sanity deteriorating slowly, all he could ever do was sleep or try to practice his ability, but that took a lot out of him.

Soon, the guard finished and waved his gun for lucifer to walk in front--the usual procedure. His dark gaze looked over to the other cell doors where the others were held and saw the guard begin to open the doors. He felt a smirk climb up onto his lips as he headed to the cafeteria, the guard following close behind. He could sense the tension in him and it made him laugh. Out of the people in the group, the guard was tense around him? Well actually, he had to admit the guard had plenty of reason to be. Lucifer could be one twisted individual, and one to not ever take lightly and underestimate.

Soon reaching the cafeteria, he acted normal as he could be as the guards circled the room. He grabbed a tray and began to grab some food. He needed to eat,p anyways, he didn't know when he would eat next if he didn't and if they escaped. A big if. His gaze wondered around for zeek and most importantly Saadi, he wanted to make sure she was ready for the plan of escape. Or if there was any last minutes changes, he didn't want this plan to be screwed up as it could be their only chance of getting out. damn it, where was that brat he thought with a sigh, although had no intentions of his thought to be mean or rude. It wasn just how and who he was. Nothing no who could ever change about him and there wasn't no point in trying. His dark gaze looking around as she tapped his foot impatiently.

Looking around the room, she felt her stomachtwist and turn, the white room becoming blinding and overpowering in her life now. she never liked the colour white before, but now she absolutely hated it with a passion. It was so bland and boring, and now she was beginning to think she was slowly going insane. She began to pace around the room, or run or something, so it would drain her energy. Or she wouldn't be able to sleep. her body would just refuse to, and she would be stuck unable to do anything. Her mind would wonder, slowly pushing her to insanity. Zephryne lost track of time, not know exactly what day it was let alone what year it was. She felt like she has been locked up in her for years, but it probably only has been a few months. But who knows? She could be right? Or she could be wrong?

suddenly hearing the loud clunk she sat bolt up right, her breathing hitching. damn collar she cursed as she tried to adjust it. It would zap her but the pain didn't hurt at all. At first it did, hell of a lot. But now? It only tickled. She had a feeling it was probably from her element of pain and destruction, but she hasn't told the guards or anything about her ability adapting. She often puts on a act so as to not let them suspect she has began to use her ability. It wasn't really her using, it is more her element just automatically responding out of her protection or something along those lines. She didn't really know, she talked more to her brother tobias about it as he had an understanding of it more than her because of Evie having the same element. She knew her brother was not over her death and tried her best to support him, even though he pushed her away some times. Yes it did hurt her, but he was her blood, and she couldn't stay mad or upset at him for long. He was her brother for crying out loud, she would do anything for him. He was all she had left as her own blood, so she would protect her blood.

raising to her feet slowly, she began to walk out the door, seeing lucifer walk ahead. She knew of the plan, but only vague bits. Her gaze flickered around looking for her brothers cell and felt the need to know he was okay, like every other time she got out. Who knew what could happen to them all when they were locked away not being able to see everyone. It was quite isolated and daunting, and it only made her worried for her brother even more so. She didn't find him and sighed heavily as she began to feel antsy. Her boots hitting the cement below as she walked to the cafeteria, until she stopped dead. The guard slammed the gun into her spine and she simply laughed, "there is no need to get so hasty, I aren't going no where buddy." she smirked at him before she continued walking and grabbed some food. Zephryne sat down by herself and mindlessly ate at a piece of apple, her golden gaze flickering around, getting ready for any sign the plan was a go ahead. Today was the day, and all of them knew that. But the timing was important, so now she had to wait as much as if displeased her.

    ╚══════════╝
Zeek sat in the corner of his cell, his knees pushed up againsthis body, his arms laying over top of them. He was beggining to get really sick of this bloody prison. At first, he thought they would only be here for a short time. These military folk would do their thing, then bugger off. But no, they had been trapped her for god knows how long. Zeek heard doors on other cells nearby opening up, the sound of boots on the cold cement, and the muttering of foreign language. Russian. He didnt know what time it was, but Zeeks stomach was grumbling loudly, so that atleast was an indicator of some sort. Standing up, his back aching as he stretched his body, he walked to the steel door of his small cell. He tried to peer outside, but he had little luck. he gathered it was lunchtime, and they were gettng the group members out one by one and moving them to the cafeteria where they could grab something to eat. By the sounds of the boots and voices outside, he was next. He walked to the back of his cell so he didnt startle the guards. He sure as hell didnt want to get shot on their day of escape. Hell, he didnt want to get shot at all.

Zeek faced the wall of his cell, and placed his hands behind his head. While he wasnt fond of these particular Russians, he might as well make their job easier. Less stress on himself that way, atleast. He heard the metal door swing open, its hinges creeking from lack of oil. A loud voice boomed at him in Russian. It was just a single word, and he gathered it meant "MOVE". So he did so. Turning around to face the men, he saw a guard in camo clothing standing in the doorway, a Kalashnikov automatic rifle in his hands. Zeek knew that with one wrong move, he would probably have more lead than iron in his body. Not healthy. He chuckled lightheartedly to himself, as he walked down the hallway to the cafeteria. He saw Lucifer, his good friend and Zeph ahead of him, leading the group into the Cafeteria. He had spoken breifly with Lucifer about the plan. It was a loose plan, but he knew it had to work. Lucifer was cunning, and he knew what to do. Zeek would follow him wherever he needed.

Walking into the cafeteria, he felt the stone cold gaze of the guard behind him leave, and he took a seat next to Zeph. Looking over to Lucifer, he gave him a nod, as if to notify him that Zeph knew what was going on. he stayed silent for a moment, before turning to Zephryne. "You ready?" he asked outright, though quietly. he knew most of the guards probably didnt speak english, but he didnt want to take any chances, so his voice was no more than a whisper. He grabbed some food silently, his stomach not silencing itself untill it was full. With a sigh, re reluctantly began to eat the food they were provided. Apparently the russian military had no tastebuds he thought to himself, as he tried his best to swallow the bland slush their captors had provided for them.
Now, all they had to do was wait for the signal.

    [ ★ ] `jayce [i] | skye [i]

    Postby Aᴛᴏᴍɪᴄ. » Fri Nov 25, 2016 9:59 am

          Jayce
[age: twenty-four // nname: blue, jay] - [location: tba] - [tags: lucinda mentions: vaguely everybody]
          ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Jayce had been doing anything and everything a person could possibly do in a cell. He'd been in a cell before, but he'd gotten out of that situation with his good looks and winning personality alone. These people were having none of it for the most part. Besides, to them, Jay was a seemingly perfect prisoner. He would obey direct orders and work when told. He would eat what they gave him in the cell. He would converse in a congenial manner with the staff and guards, and even though, a few had taken a liking to him - even so much as joining him in his cell every so often - he was still a prisoner. And God, that wouldn't bother him so damn much if he had his pistols along with him. But no. They'd crossed the line from the beginning by taking Heads and Tails. Nobody was allowed to touch those guns unless Jayce gave permission. The tall man was pacing, back and forward. Back and forward. He had the hint of a small smile touching his lips the second somebody came to approach his cell. However, there was a tiny sigh that left said lips when the person outside passed him by. He missed people. Nobody had come to visit him in a couple days and they rarely let him out of his cell. He realized that they understood his powers. The more people Jay had access to, the more chance he'd be able to pull a fast one and be lost in a see of faces if disorder were ever to rise up. So yes, the charismatic sharpshooter was quite lonely.

Jayce wasn't even on the normal level everybody else was. It wasn't long ago that he'd started to lift up paper clips with his mind and crush them into tiny little balls of metal. It wasn't long after that, Jayce was using those metal balls as bullets without a gun. He was, by no means, adept at this new ability to seemingly manipulate anything having to do with metal. But if he really wanted to, he could cause catastrophe destruction due to the fact that he wouldn't be able to control himself. Ether way, Jayce was stuck far under ground so he could cause no trouble above it. Staring at his face in the reflection of the door's small window, the man touched a finger to his lips. There was a face in his mind still. One that stuck out among all the rest. Three faces actually. But the face he was focusing on was most prominent. Dark eyes. His face was rarely ever clean shaven. Then of course, that man's hair. It had always been perfect as all hell while Jay's could never seem to settle the way he wanted it to. The man focused and slowly but surely, his face began to transform into another. Cheerful dark eyes greeted Jay's reflection, but the old partner's face wore Jay's smile. It was a bit disconcerting, especially when he heard the shouting on the other side of the door. "Aye! Knock it off with that face crap, Porter!" Jayce rolled his eyes, and his face snapped back to what it looked like any other day of the week. Cheerful and ready to bone.

"I told you, love. I don't go by Porter. How'd you like it if referred to you as Viktor ?" Jayce placed his forehead against the window and smirked at the guard's reaction. "H-how did you kn-" The sharpshooter interrupted by simply shaking his head and pressing a finger to his lips as if the knowledge was secret. He'd gotten a lot of information about this guard's identity a couple nights ago. Don't worry, it was all in good fun. He just wanted out of the cell, and this raging piece of dog s**t was going to let him out. The conversation went as conversations with Jayce and guards usually do. Lots of arguing until somewhere along the way, Jay turns it into playful bickering. Then flirting. Then the door opens. And the guard comes in to see just what Jay had in store for the other. It would be rude not to reward the obedient man with a kiss, and Jayce did just that. Cupping the back of the guard's neck, he had to crane his neck just to reach the man's lips. The guard wasn't a bad kisser. He was also very decent looking. However, Jayce hardly cared about any of that. He was delving deeper into the kiss - keeping as much prolonged contact as possibly and only breaking to breathe occasionally. His goal was to take as much of this man's identity as he could. Because, of course - Jayce Holland Atkins Porter was getting out of this facility - even if he had to still every last beating heart with a smile on his face. His mind was lost in memories of the other man. Interests. Family members. Vacations. Intimate secrets between him and other people. Is that Antony? My my, Vik. Don't you get around.

When Jayce pulled away, he was left with a guard who was struggling to keep upright. Jay fixed this by smoothing his thumb across his cheek and bringing the other's eyes up to meet Jay's gaze. "You know. It's been about a month since I've seen my friends. No fingers crossed, I won't try anything. I just want to see them. Besides, it's not like I'd be able to fight you. You're the one with the big gun," The guard seemed to be regaining his ground and he straightened up, brushing himself off. "Ah, well, I suppose one afternoon in the cafeteria can't hurt anybody. But I swear Atkins, one step out of line-" The sharpshooter grinned down at the other, "-And I'm a goner. Well then, I best not step out of line." It was no secret down here that Jayce was also wanted by the US military. He wasn't going to deny nor affirm whether he was guilty of the crimes he'd been charged with. Atkins followed Viktor through the underground facility until they reached the secured elevator. Up and up they went until he stepped onto the top floor. The cafeteria was loud and filled with people scurrying about, getting their fill up for the day. Immediately, Jayce began to seek out his mates like a dog who'd been neglected his bone for far too long. Jayce had no intention of eating a lot. He rarely did simply because of the fact that he had much more important things to do that engorge himself. Viktor dismissed him and went to stand by the exit to the cafeteria, his hair still messed up from earlier activities down in an underground cell. Jay would have to keep a hawk's eye on that man. He was essential for Jay's individual plans to work. Yes. They would all be trying to escape today. And yes. Jayce would probably be going off on his own at some point. Sure, he'd do what he needed to in order to ensure the others got out safe. That was basically play dress up with a lot of important peoples' faces and gain access to the control and procedural room. But then he'd have to go off course at some point to steal back his damn pistols.

With his small plate of food, Jayce plopped down in front of Lucifer and let his smile settle kindly. "My God, it's been too long since I've seen that stunning scowl of yours Lucinda. Tell me, do you wake up like that or do you have to practice that expression in front of a mirror every morning?" It really had been a long time since he'd seen any of their faces. He'd been relying on Rhena to have guards pass messages onto him with her powers just so they could make these plans. Without her, he'd have likely been cut off completely. Even still, Jayce's time in his cell had not been delightful in the slightest. Bad things happen to him when he only has his head with him as a distraction. At least they'd been decent enough to give him cigarettes the first week. The real pain started after they stopped giving him those cigarettes. It had been a particularly awful month, full of particularly awful depressive episodes. The same pitiful and pathetic performance he'd been starring in his entire life. But, he returned back to being Just as Jayce as ever each time. You really had to know how to handle yourself when you were alone ninety percent of your life. When Jayce fell, he picked himself back up again and brushed off the dirt. That's just how things went. "I see that Zephryne's in her little position. Have you seen anybody else just yet? One more thing, I thought that now would be a fantastic time to let you know not to wait for me when you all get out. I'll be going on a little detour. God forbid I let Saadi know this. You look awful, by the way."

          Skye
[age: twenty // nname: n/a] - [location: tba] - [tags: open mentions: various peeps]
          ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Skye had been lying in her bed, sleeping. That is what Skyes usually do when there's nothing else to do. It was always kept absurdly hot in her room as they felt she would start building some winter wonderland all of a sudden. No. That would be absolutely ridiculous. As if Skye Everfalls had the artistic talent to make anything other than an icicle. Even then, she barely had enough talent to do that. You could throw her in a cell or an unlocked bedroom and she would be equally as docile a creature. She had to admit, because there was a lack of fear when it came to being purely a support character in a group of human weapons - the guards were much nicer to her. She didn't argue, because debate was not her forte. She didn't freak out and go on violent rages. She remembered briefly that Jayce had killed somebody with a couple paperclips in the late days of last month. She hadn't seen him since, but Rhena assured her he was still alive and kicking - somewhere. Speaking of which, she really wanted to see Rhena. Honestly, who'd have guessed that they'd become as good of friends now? Years after school?

Most of her days in her cell were spent dealing with normal day existential crises. Why am I here? What's the point of living? Is there an afterlife? What'll these people do to my body if I die? How many movies are going to be remade, reused, and recycled as a cheap ploy to make that hollywood dough? What if all of this is actually some world that my sadistic brain created? What if I am literally just a floating brain in space. Dear God. If that's the case, then why did my floating brain create this world? I want a refund. I'd like to live somewhere nicer. Like hawaii. Or... I don't know where I want to live. I'm twenty years old, and I have absolutely no idea where I'm going in life. Currently though? Nowhere. Thanks floating brain. A recurring voice eventually brought the blonde out of her existential mourning, and she blinked a couple times to join reality. Reality? .... Or her brain's realit- Stop it. Stop being weird Skye....... Still. The girl forced herself to stand up, running a hand through her hair as she did so. The guard outside was a woman, and not one of the nicer ones. She was already irritated that Skye had taken so long to respond. But, the guard opened the door and informed the ice girl that it was time to eat. Great! Her face stayed neutral as somebody pressed a gun to her back. More than once, she thought about telling the guard off. But that wouldn't be a good idea on her part, so she just dealt with it like a champion.

The cafeteria was as normal as ever. Skye almost had a hard time believing that anything would be going wrong today. But if everything went right, they'd be out of this facility by the end of the day. Skye actually felt useless. She couldn't control her ice powers, and she had absolutely no idea if she had anything else stored in her batman's utility belt. Rhena could compulsively get people to do things she wanted. Jayce could change his face to look like anybody as long as he'd touched them at some point. Tobias was terrifying. But he had a nice face. So these sorts of things tend to even themselves out. For now, Skye's job was to stay out of the way. Seeing as that's what she usually did on a daily basis, it didn't seem like such a hard job to do in this case. The girl just picked up her food, turned away from the counter, and sat off from everybody. Her mouth twitched into a smile when she spotted Jayce. It was just like him to go missing for a month and show up the day you needed him like nothing happen. That guy, honestly. Then, he was sitting next to Lucifer and Skye's smiled warmly at the man. It wasn't often that Skye met somebody that had such an effect on her. Se felt comfortable around the man, never failing to see past the cold eyes and into the hidden depths. Plus, don't tell anybody - but he was an excellent hugger. Zephryne was also off on her own. Zeek had his own seat next to Zeph. Everything was looking fairly normal and none of the guards looked at all, suspicious. Everything would be okay. She'd be fine. Yeah... this reality still sucks.

          DAICHI AKINO
          ───────────────────────
          age: twenty-fiveelement: firespeciality: emotional manipulation
          location: russiatags: everyonementions: almost everyone

Daichi snarled, shoving against the door and pressing his forehead against the glass pane, eyes snapped and teeth bared. How dare they. How dare they. His palms rested against the door, trying his damnedest to shove against it. A spark fired in his mind, a low growl rising in his throat as he felt increasingly familiar touch of flames brush his skin. And he had it, he had it, right there... And it was gone. Where frustration would have normally caused his features to twitch and pull down, Daichi took to anger, shoving his knee against the door and shoving the heel of his palm against the glass. He knew they were out there, standing just outside of his door. He'd learnt rather quickly their habits of movement, when they would come to get him and when they would throw him in and leave him to the dust and cold. And Daichi knew that it was time -- could just see the doors opposite of him swinging open, freeing Lucifer. Then Zeph. Ezekiel. Skye. Jayce.

A face shoved its way in front of the glass, causing Daichi to jerk back and press his fingers against the small window -- fire sparking between his skin and the glass. That caused the man to curse and stumble back, and Daichi to grin. He'd long learnt that they'd proofed this place -- just about anything that they could have possible thought to cover. All of it, fireproof, in some fear that he'd burn the place down. How irrational of them. Non-lethals. Every single one of them bore non-lethals, but a select few carried a pistol. A gun. The corner of his lip drew down, but it wasn't any fleck of disappointment, no. Akino lifted his chin as the door to his cell swung open, the man holding his breath as the guards (decked out in fire proximity suits, mind you) approached him. His gaze slid from each man, and though his mind sparked at the prospect of tearing every single one of them apart, that light never reached his eyes. And he let them take him.

"Take him out of the cuffs," one of the men instructed the other, causing Daichi to glance away at the lucky-chosen soldier who would be put to that task. His eyes narrowed as a man about his age approached him, fumbling with the key that he handled with the gloves in order to unlock the chains.

"Taking the gloves off would make it easier," Daichi spoke in passing, looking over the man's head. Spoke calmly enough, too, it seemed, because the soldier seemed to relax. Ignored Daichi's advice, but at least he wasn't on high-alert. Which was better for Daichi. Soon enough, the chains were off, hitting the floor. Akino immediately snapped his hands out in front of him, twisting his wrists and muttering something unheard under his breath.

"Shut the hell up. Move him!" Daichi shot a glare at the man, only to stumble as he was shoved from behind. Anger sparked, and with it, a burst of flame. In the beginning, they took that as a threat from him. But now that they were safe behind their fire proximity suits? They couldn't care less about what Daichi did to counteract them. You can build walls against flames, but these damn soldiers forgot another important factor. You can't build walls against yourself and your own emotions. Because their emotions were his, now, Daichi able to twist them accordingly. Put them at ease. Rile them up. Just depended on what was called for.

When they finally made it to the mess hall, they shoved him forward again, Daichi planting himself as his jaw snapped, teeth clicking. So be it. He'd deal with this for now -- fine, whatever. His head tilted as he looked at the group already gathered here, fingers twitching before curling into a slow fist. Field day time.

          SAADI AL−HASHEEM
          ─────────────────────────────
age: twenty-threeelement: timespeciality: shadow walking/umbrageous teleportation
location: russiatags: jay, luci, everyone else in the mess hallmentions: jay and luci

Saadi fluttered her eyes, letting out a slow sigh through her teeth. Collect yourself. Breathe. You have this, Al-Hasheem. Damn right she did. A slow grin curled across her features as she let her eyes slip open, focused on the wall opposite of her. Saadi kept a carefully put together mark of days -- drawing across the walls with whatever she could get her hands on. Some days, that was stone. One time she got a metal fork in here. That was fun. Other days, she'd had to resort to her nails. Counted the tally-marks carefully before adding another one in with the sliver of rock, notching out stone and paint in order to add the line. It's been too damn long. Each day was hell -- only out of sheer redundancy. And the way the Russians treated them was hardly any better. But what use was complaining? Her fingers drew into her palm, pressing carefully against the skin there. Today. It would be today, assuming no-one botched it up for them.

The second the door swung open and hit the wall, Saadi had pressed herself into the corner where the shadows cast down, hands flat against the wall. Her eyes never left the guard that was standing there, at the doorway -- puzzled as hell. "She's not --" the soldier cut himself off, head tilting as he stepped further into the cell. Time for Saadi to work her magic. Her hands lifted, eyebrows pushed together in concentration as she moved through the shadows of her cell, remaining entirely unseen to the guard. Finally made it to the door, kicking it shut and slamming her back against it, laughing.

"Sir, if you will?" she crossed the room towards the soldier, stepping free from the shadows that she'd used to her advantage. Umbrageous teleportation. That was the official name for it. The man cursed -- up, down, left, right. Saadi swore she'd never heard half of those words before in her life. And she called herself foul-mouthed. Oh, poor soul. Al-Hasheem pushed out her lower lip in a mock pout, arms crossing over her chest as her head tilted. "I pity you," she murmured, head shaking. She turned herself, pulling on the unlocked door handle and grinning. "Now, go. Get the hell out of here before I change my mind," she snapped at the man, causing his eyes to widen and him to run off. Not without shutting and locking her cell door first.

He returned with reinforcements. To that, Saadi only smiled. She wasn't the one they should be worried about. There was a flicker of another scene, another life, as they opened her door. Faded just as quick. But it lasted long enough for the Russians to hesitate. "Knock it the hell off," one of them bit at her, causing her shoulders to roll as she was escorted out of her cell. When they rounded the corner and entered the mess hall, Saadi's eyes immediately landed on Lucifer and Jayce. As soon as they let go of her arms, she headed towards them, chin raised and a smirk painted on her expression.

Stopped once she reached them, casting her eyes to Lucifer, first. Then, slowly, reluctantly, Jayce. "Lucille. Jayce." Her lips curled at Lucille. Loved holding that one against him. Lucifer was far too harsh, conflicted too much for her liking. So she stuck with the next best thing. "Is everything in order?" Her tone snapped immediately towards business, her dark gaze flitting to Zeph. Allowed herself to smile, to soften her expression just enough. Hardened as soon as she turned back to Luci, however.

Do you know what it was like to be wrapped up in insulation? Bloody hot, it was.

The others in this facility had it too easy with their pretty little (electrically forged, may he add) handcuffs, while he was stuck with this all-in-one suit. It was grey, a dank and dingy grey to match the interior of his cell. The fabric was thick, rough and course; often scraping against his skin unpleasantly, and today was no different. He was on edge, volatility balancing precariously on the precipice. The electrical conduit shoved his head against the wall and curled back his lip. The suit. This thing was restrictive, dammit. It was tight to his body, his energy forced to coil back underneath his skin and thrum along in his blood. Nowhere for his static to go other than him. He could feel it, too, pressing against his flesh and tingling the hairs strewn across his body. Toby felt alive. Similar to a spacesuit, they had said; a Faraday cage; but it was more like a damned straitjacket. In fact, Tobias was certain it was a straitjacket. Great. All he was missing was the padded room and the men in white coats ready to take him away. Oh look, here they come now.

His electricity was a life all of its own, as they had found out on several occasions. It didn't heed Tobias' instructions, and it certainly didn't heed whatever these soldiers had to say. Testing was fun, though. They had soon grown bored of flickering lights and singed skin, and had attempted a different tact with him. Try accessing his neural pathways, they'd once said. The flare of electric had fried the brain, as well as it's vessel, into a pile of smoking meat. That... that had not been fun. Tobias blanched at the memory and shook out his trembling muscles. That's the thing with electricity. It was always there. No part in thanks to this godawful straitjacket housing the charged projectiles. He felt like a bloody copper wire, protected by Teflon. Teflon. Maybe this suit was of a Teflon blend. That would explain the incessant itch of the stupid thing.

But enough of that. Things to do, people to see. And these guards were a sight for sore eyes. Behind his glass screen, Tobias snapped his head to one side, throwing a grin at the two men staring at him. Dressed all in a shining, pristine black. They held their rifles across their chest in standard military fashion with their grips relaxed, but the conduit knew otherwise. One flick of the wrist and they'd be a bullet lodged in his skull. While he wasn't necessary looking to die, per se, he'd gladly take one for the team. Maybe if he could just manipulate their anger levels... "Stand to attention, Mister Reeves," came the gruff voice, slathered in a thick Russian accent. Orders, orders. He'd been conditioned to follow them through other means of persuasion, and a lone spark of fear shot up his spine. His muscles convulsed and he straightened, backing up. Evie, oh gods, Evie, had taught him a further understanding of his speciality. Her name tasted bitter in his throat, dark eyes flashing with energy as he stared them down. Beneath the jacket, his necklace trembled with excess energy. The suit had held him this long, but just how much of his electricity could it withstand? He would find out soon enough.

A beep followed soon after, and the glass screen lifted into the ceiling. Toby remained still. "Good little weapon, walk on." The electrical conduit did, one foot after another, but not without shooting them a twisted grin. Probably not the time for theatrics, but what could you do? He stared at the man who had spoken, and imagined that dial Evie had taught him. A notched dial, indicating levels of aggression. Far easier than shouting, angry, angry, angry in his mind and hoping for the best. Compared to hers, Tobias' skills were rudimental at best and now... now she was gone. He bit down on his teeth and snagged the inside of his cheek. Her face was burnt into his retinas by now, and she was there behind his eyelids whenever he dared close them. There was an absence where his heart should and been, and for too long now had Tobias been filling it with hate.

Each footstep was a painful one. He could do without seeing the faces of the group as they sent him into the slaughterhouse. So, he averted his eyes as they untied his wrists and let him roam free, one last time before the killing began. Maybe he'd make it out alive. Maybe he wouldn't. Either way, Tobias didn't much care. Instead, he swiped a lunch tray from the pile and pushed onwards along the conveyor belt. Pretty much the whole gang had arrived before the electrical conduit decided to grace them with his presence, so he stared at them in turn. First, his eyes went to his sister, Zephryne followed by Ezekiel, eyes flickering to Skye, then to Saadi barking orders at Jayce and Lucifer, and finally Daichi; doing whatever it was Daichi did best. Hmm, where should he go? Which table held the best prospects? Strike Lucifer, they weren't on the best of terms, so Jayce and Saadi were out of the question. Maybe he'd just mill around in the background, position himself were his electric would hold maximum efficiency. A generator ought to do the trick. But, why seek out a generator when you had a whole host of energy bundled into one specific person? Daichi. He knew Daichi would be up to the task. Who would he be to even resist that potential for destruction? That man would be up for a good battle any day of the week. Toby sloped into the corners of the hall, drumming his fingers across the table of Zeph's and grinning at her. His body shivered at even the mere thought of the rush. Then, he made his way over to the prince of fire with a lopsided smile. "Care to combine our efforts, Mister Akino?" Oh, the fight had been building for too long. Tobias wanted structure. He wanted a release from this pent up hurt, pain and hatred. And what better way than to start a war?

The morning for Rhena consisted of re-dying her hair. A gentle word here, a simple command there, and she'd gained a box of dye along with a rare shower. She was a rather simple thing to please, and didn't require too much attention. Didn't hold enough mastery over smoke for it to be a threat (as of yet), and she had readily convinced everyone she was in for the ride. Well paced smiles and a string of words easily gave her everything she needed. Bought her trust within the soldier's ranks, as well. But, that was the thing. In a world where everyone bowed in your presence, where was the fun? There was no life, these people... they weren't people. They were puppets, and she held the metaphorical reins. What fun was a world that never fought back, that never could fight back? There was no challenge here for her. Not anymore. You'd think it would be wonderful for each and every person to kneel at your feet, to watch their eyes light up with desire as you told them to fetch a coffee. And it was, it was absolutely splendid, the first few months were. Everything she could ever ask for. But Rhenawedd wanted more. She wanted people to fight back, show a bit of damn life in them. No-one ever did. Not a soul found it in them to battle her compulsion. Then came Daichi. The fire-dog immune to her silver-forged tongue. It struck her, that day, and ever since, that had been her goal. To get the mutt to break. It became her motivation. The world was a sea of mindless drones until he came along and destroyed it all. And that was the best part. It gave Rhena a purpose. A malicious purpose, but a purpose all the same. She grinned to herself, knowing that he couldn't affect her to any degree, either.

After the vivid pink had been applied to the roots, she called in for a hair-dryer. Soldiers shuffled and moved, but they'd cottoned onto her techniques pretty quick. They sported earbuds now, as the tests had shown it was her voice, and voice alone that compelled them. Not her eyes, but she was working on that one. At least Rhena had gotten her claws into one of them before the dreaded earbud incident of last month. Wasn't Jayce still in solitary for something? Killing someone or attempted murder? It was one of the two, right? Oh well. The facts didn't matter -- she had a soldier. Every day, she had to constantly remind him to "wear the earbuds in my presence, but when I smile at you, you'll want to remove them." Luckily for her, it was strong enough to last. He was a young one, with a far more malleable mind. But, oh! It wasn't him today. It was a new one. Fresh meat for Rhena. The man rocked up with clicking boots and his gun held by his side. There were no signs of earbuds, so a stroke of luck. Maybe he was new. Or stupid. "Miss Ahlstrom. Out."

Miss Ahlstrom had other plans. She put down the hair-dryer and held up her palms, the typical surrendering gesture. Pointed at her beanie, and the man nodded for her to retrieve it. With a pleased smile, she grabbed the beanie and then proceeded to don it atop her freshly-dyed hair. With a soft sigh, she blinked at the man. A sleek face with a drawn countenance. Rather official looking, but that didn't exactly sway her. "Put the gun to your head, and pull the trigger." She watched his eyes burn with horror as his hands lifted, the barrel of the gun pressing a mark against his temple. Watched the confusion on his face too, and saw the internal struggle between her poisonous words and his own mind's rationality. Rhenawedd won. And, with his finger on the trigger, the soldier squeezed it.

Click. Nothing but a click. The pink-haired conduit laughed. Ok, now that was enjoyable. "No bullets," she grinned, handing over her hair-dryer and making her own way to the mess hall, her escorting guard stunned beyond comprehension. Shock was a wonderful inhibitor, wasn't it? She had learnt that under stress or exposure to a traumatic event, your hold on your mind weakened. Made it possible for her to assume control. More control, then she would ever have originally. "Do me a favour, and don't tell anyone. Ever. I'm sure you'll forget, in time." That was her own invention, that was; choosing to rid the on-duty soldiers of ammunition. Who needed to raid the artillery reserves when she could just put her little puppet to work, emptying their magazines while she dyed her hair? Perfect -- everything was according to plan. Well, in her mind it was. "Oh! One last thing, could I get two coffees? With whipped cream, if that's possible, please." At least she held her manners in some aspects.

With two steaming cups of the good stuff in her hands, Rhenawedd scooted into the mess hall with a wide smile on her face. While using her talents on the soldiers provided her with a bit of entertainment here and there, with the group, she almost always held her tongue. One slip, and well, it might not end pretty. So she kept herself to herself, and usually bundled herself up with Skye in the corner, drowning herself in her friend's words instead of her own. It was easy to spot Skye, a little ways from her, but she grinned nonetheless and spent no time at all in making a beeline for her friend. Strategically drawing her path around the table housing the main trio of Lucifer, Jayce and Saadi she murmured, "No bullets," informing them with a sly wink in both Lucifer's and Saadi's direction. Jayce on the other hand, was offered a small grin, tongue between her teeth. She avoided Zeph and Zeek like the plague, shooting Daichi and Tobias each a glare.

But! Other matters to tend to! Skye, oh Skye. How long had it been since she had seen her cold-blooded friend? Yesterday? Right, right, yesterday. Still, too long for her liking. Rhena held the cups up in the air as she slid into place next to her friend, one steaming cup held close, while she pushed the other towards Skye with an inclined head. "Fresh coffee," she smiled, glad to finally be in her company once again. "Whipped cream, it's got whipped cream, too. Only the very best," with a laugh, Rhena removed the lid of hers, regretting that she hadn't thought ahead to get them some spoons. Oh well, she tapped the cup with her thumb, before motioning towards the one bounded in a straitjacket. "What's the codeword for today, then?"
