Jared laughed at Erik's act of rebellion. "Well, good for you. I'm glad you like it and continued to stick with it. Though, you know now that your going have to show me some of your work, right?" he teased with a grin, even though he really did mean it. He loved seeing other people's work and would be bugging him until he got a peek.

Erik chuckled, "Oh, good luck with that, it's my private hobby, so you'll just have to be left in suspense." he returned Jared's teasing with a good natured smile. He stretched a little, "So you have the day off tomorrow, or class?" he asked, he didn't want to keep Jared up too late if he had an early class.

"Not fair," he pouted, crossing his arms as he did. However, at the question of if he had class the next day, Jared stopped to think for a minute and recall what day of the week they were on before he answered. "Yeah, Psychology, but that's it. It's at about nine in the morning, and thankfully we don't too much hard work, or if we do it's with partners or an assignment over a weekend. And I'll have to work again, hopefully my normal shift though." he answered with a chuckle.

Erik chuckled, "Hopefully." he smiled, "I have fridays off." he said, "So I think I will pick you up after work, and take you on a roadtrip, so pack an overnight bag." he told Jared with a happy grin. he knew this was fast, but Erik lived life in the fast lane and now he was going to e dragging Jared with him, and hopefully he didn't mind too much.

Jared's entire face lit up at the mention of a road trip and he quickly turned into an excited little kid. "Are you really Erik?" he clapped his hands together once in excitement and he moved so he could wrap his arms around him. "Do I get to know where we're going? Or are you going to withhold that information from me?"

Erik smiled and hugged him tightly once Jared hugged him, "I am really Jared." he said warmly, he was very glad Jared was excited about this, it was wonderful. "Nope, surprise trip." he said happily as he looked down at Jared. Surprises were something that Erik liked doing for his friends, at least until it got to be too much.

Jared rolled his eyes and sighed like he was annoyed, but his grin remained in place, showing he wasn't actually that upset. "Well, it better be an absolutely amazing trip then," he teased from where he was still by Erik's side.

Erik smiled, "Oh, it'll be unforgettable, hopefully." he said with a teasing smile, wrapping his arm around Jared as they headed back to his jeep. 'I should get you back, so you don't fall asleep during class."

Jared leaned into him slightly as they got up to leave. "That wouldn't happen. Besides, I won't be able to sleep now anyways. I'll be thinking of your surprise trip all night," he remarked with a grin at Erik as they walked and got into the vehicle.

Erik smiled, "Wanna come see my place then?" he asked as he lead him to the jeep and opened the door for Jared, "I think I may even have some art out." he said with an enticing smile, though he'd drop Jared off at his place if he wanted.
