New adoptable feature - adds pets to your account!

If you've adopted a pet in the last hour, you already know about the new feature! You can now adopt pets and add them to your forum account. This saves them in a list of pets that you own and lets you easily get the codes for them again. In the future we'll be adding special features that require that your pets are added to a forum account.

Or, if you don't want to get an account to adopt pets, you can still adopt them the old way.

Unfortunately, since lots of people have the same names on the 'old adopted pets', we can't automatically add those pets to your forum account. We'll need to do this manually by request over the next wee while (wait a day or so while we get the system organised).

You mean, to delete the pet altogether?

Well, I suppose... yes. Or, place it up for adoption - for someone who didn't get that variation for that month say.

Sounds like a great idea. I'll make it so that you can give your pets to someone else's account. Then people could run their own little adoptions.. .
