Webgaze - tom, 170 moons, elder, eating in front of the elders den - Swanpaw

Webgaze was just finishing up his mouse when he heard a cat approaching. "Oh it's good you are here Hazelpaw, my stiff joints are even stiffer today, hope you have..." the tom started to talk, sure that the cat was Hazelpaw bringing him some herbs, but when he turned around he saw that the cat wasn't a tabby brown but white. He got a bit confused for a moment, not really able to see who it was. 'Swanpaw:"does anyone need an apprentice to make use of?"' "Use of an apprentice? There is always a use for an apprentice of course! Hunting, bringing prey, changing bedding, and taking off ticks and killing fleas... ugh.. fleas those pesky things," the tom lost his track of thought for a moment shaking the feeling of fleas off him and looked back at the apprentice. " So yes use, much use there is of you apprentices. But you are all lazy these days." Webgaze squinted his eyes, trying to get a better look at Swanpaw. "When I was an apprentice we were lucky to get any sleep!" the old tom added. Swanpaw was in a good position to get caught in one of Webgazes *When I was....* stories...

Stormfur - tom, 40 moons, warrior, border patrol - cats on the patrol

Stormfur didn't even notice Maplepaw going on ahead. He suddenly stopped in his tracks. He thought that he saw a bush moving, but now looking at it it was still. The wind was blowing in the opposite direction so he couldn't smell a thing. His trail lashed through the air with frustration. He lookes at his clanmates, "Does anyone smell something?" he asked feeling like something was watching them.

Cinderpaw - she-cat, 8 moons, apprentice, camp - Ryefur, Dustcloud

Cinderpaw was padding along the lake lost in thought. She didn't really realise where she was going or walking, and suddenly stepped on something round and furry. The strange feeling under her paw brought her back to reality. She looked at the ground trying to see what she had stepped on... It was a tail! Guilt and a hint of fear swept over her worrying whose tail it was. She quickly moved her paw and looked up. She stepped on Dustclouds tail! "Uh.. I'm really really sorry Dustcloud! I wasn't looking where I was walking...", she said and glanced at Ryefur then back at Dustcloud. She heard that the tom cold and hars, guess she will find out if it's all true...

Batpaw - tom, 8 moons, apprentice, camp - open for interaction

Batpaw did pretty well on the hunting patrol. He managed to catch 2 mice a frog and sparrow and was pretty proud of himself, but there was some prey that managed to get away, and he had some trouble with catching the frog so he knew that he still needed to work on his hunting. He left the prey on the fresh kill pile and took the sparrow for himself, feeling the hunger creeping in after not eating in the morning and the hunting making him even more hungry.

Greyfeather - tom, 23 moons, warrior, territory - Shadowclaw

Greyfeather padded out of camp, getting bored of just sitting around and doing nothing the whole day. He thought that he might as well catch something and stretch his legs. Not deep into the territory he spotted Shadowclaw making a kill. He padded to her and let out a purr. "Nice catch." he said happily.

Foxcloud awoke, feeling a bit annoyed. The tom enjoyed taking naps, but he knew that wasn't an option. He had work to do, just like all the other cats. Elders and queens were the only ones who didn't need to put in effort. He understood why. Elders had served their clan, and gave wisdom to the younger cats. Queens had kits, that grew up into warriors. To be honest, he didn't care if he had kits or not. They weren't a priority and he felt clumsy around them. With the end of his thoughts he slipped out of the den, looking around to see other cats in the clearing.

Connor looked over the clan borders. Everything seemed peaceful over there. He had always wanted to see clan territory, but had stayed away. If he were to cross, he wasn't sure what to happen. He knew he would stir trouble, that was for sure. To be honest he was more curious then he was scared. What was clan life like? He had always been a rogue, and had never understood what kept a clan in order. Was there severe consequences? Either way there was something that drove the cats on, it was easy to tell. Only if he understood what it was.

Blizzardpaw rose to his paws and slightly shook his fur. Seems as if he was needed. He stood up, stretching each leg in turn as he did so. His gaze traveled over to the gathering patrol. Soon they would have a bounty to bring back. He padded over, keeping silent as he did so. He didn't really feel as if any cat was keen to talk at the moment, and he didn't mind keeping silent, after all they were going to hunt. Prey would stay away if they couldn't be silent as needed

Duskcloud leapt to his paws and glared at Cinderpaw. His fur was bristling and his lips were drawn back in a snarl. He was about to swipe at her as he was just pulled out of harsh memories, but quickly controlled himself."Its okay."he had realized it was her in time. "Just don't do it again."something about the apprentice seemed to brighten his mood a bit and he couldn't be mad at her. "You were probably expecting to loose your ears."he slightly lashed his tail

Cinderpaws muscles tenced when the tom jumped and turned around looking like he was ready to swipe at her. She was ready for a dodge, but didn't flinch, just looked him in the eyes, he didn't scare her, but she was ready to move. She could see the rage in his eyes suddenly calm down. She didn't know why, he probably realised that she was only an apprentice. Maybe I scared him, she thought to herself in a giggle, but what she saw in his eyes behind the anger wasn't fear.
When he completly turned the leaf and calmed down she tilted her head and narrowed her eyes, not quite sure what had just happened. She pushed the feeling away and relaxed. She looked at Dustcloud with a smile, "Sorry can't promise you that, I'm pretty clumsy, but I'll try." she said. "Nah, just a cut maybe, I think I'd manage to save most of my ears."

That really killed the mood. Oh well, this simple prank was all but a small joke, but she didn't expect it to be interuppted by... Cinderpaw. She sighed quietly, remorsing over the lost chance of victory. Her lament didn't usher a wave of sadness, just a disappointment. "Duskcloud, are you okay?" she meowed, loosing her 'loving' voice, and gaining her original, feathery cry. "Cinderpaw, please, look where you're going next time," the she-cat hoisted on the side of Duskcloud, watching the small, gray apprentice skitter away in fear. (Or so she thought, but Ryefur didn't pay much attention).

Duskcloud wasn't sure how to reply. Cinderpaw had stumbled in and had saved him from making a fool of himself. "Well next time you might not have ears. They'd have to call you Cindernoears."he replied, trying to lighten the mood. To him it was uncomfortable just sitting there close to the she-cats. He of course liked Ryefur, more then she had thought and for some weird reason he felt something for Cinderpaw. Perhaps he was found of her warrior skills. Whatever it was he pushed it away. There was no time to think about that right now. He was hanging out with Ryefur.
