another Canadian dessert! this time this shark is based off a butter tart!
the earliest published Canadian recipe is from Barrie, Ontario dating back to 1900 and can be found in The Women’s Auxiliary of the Royal Victoria Hospital Cookbook.
to win this shark, i'd like to hear a piece of history about YOUR country!

history snippet:
Otto Frederick Rohwedder of Davenport, Iowa, United States, invented the first loaf-at-a-time bread-slicing machine. A prototype he built in 1912 was destroyed in a fire and it was not until 1928 that Rohwedder had a fully working machine ready.
It wasn't until 1928 that we had sliced bread, and we needed a machine for it.
common/no mutations
ends November 21st!
