Hoard Discussion Thread v.5

I hoard all squid, the PPS sabertooth lion, and wow rats. I think squid are just really funny looking and I like to assign them names/ranks for the "squid army" (what I call my squid hoard). I think the PPS sabertooth lions are so so so cute and I love them to bits. The most difficult hoard is definitely the wow rat hoard. I'm currently trying to achieve a goal of 400 wow rats (I know that's a crazy big amount, but i'm working towards it. lol)

I'm hoarding one of this month's litters, and it's ridiculously hard to get more.
I keep gifting all my fodder, so I've basically nothing to trade ;v;

I finally managed to work on some of my groups, oh boy, re-naming them takes so much time. x_x

Also, having no pet hoard at the moment helps me focusing on my item hoards and my hoard thread.


The added rainbow item and stars look really good, but I need like 12 rainbows now. =/

And this background with some more stars added looks fantastic. I also need more stars, every dog will get three additional stars. ^_^ Missing exactly 11 right now.

And I really, really, really want to finish this now. Time to hunt for the tiny backgrounds, it just looks like they were made for each other. :3

Whooo! I recently just completed my one of my hoards!

There is the little mascot^^ (leads to the hoard if you click it)
This hoard is named light my path with angels.
I named it this because they are all little candles annnnd they are just so adorable like angels :> //I'm a sap\\

But since I finished this hoard I uh now have a new hoard by accident. It's named angels will light my path and it's a sub-hoard ;;

That's the mascot^^

My goal is 25 of the little angel dwarf hamsters from last years Christmas.
10 of the common little guys and 5 of the uncommon one ;;
I currently have one of each and at first I was just going to shove them into the first hoard but then I realized it didn't completely work because they didn't match the candle type of theme ;u;

Woop woop! Traded down my blue tox so got a pretty wee yellow sorb sitting for a pink one, which will make 4 total, and enough for two more with my gwj! And if I manage to get a low mains list added to their side, I should have enough lists left over to have a total of 7!!!

I'm really excited to hit 5!!

Nice! Hitting milestones with list hoards is always so exciting! One day I'll hit 5 ur aussies, one day.

And speaking of list hoards I'm thinking of starting another advent list hoard, probably another 7th tier dog since they're so easy to find and trade for. Maybe the brown border collie idk yet. I just feel weird not hoarding an advent anymore I need to fill the void.

i hoard the purple & mustard heart huskies, i currently have my goal set at 10 (5 each), but at the moment i only have 4 oTL
i've been hoarding them (or trying to, at least) since '14, but it seems i end up with list fodder that no one wants to trade for advents ehehe

in other hoard news, i hit 300 for my duck dogs hoard in the last few days! :D
and i'm only 18 away from finishing my ice-cube dog hoard too c:

i'm also really debating starting a hoard of this '14 store pet..

i have one in my collection, but ahh..
tbh i always really liked it, but lately i keep coming back to it..
i know it'd be a real pain in the butt to trade for though, which is holding me back oTL

I could never imagine trying to hoard an above the gap pet, ive been on the fence with pink sorbs for yearsss but with my liontail hoard been at basically a stand still for nearly two years (I have managed like 10 this year but only because of kind users) there's no point focusing on them, so the sorbs seemed like a good idea <3
I'm hoping to get like ten in total, maybe even a full page if the fodder appears, but just having the three I do makes me happy <3

Yeah, all advents seem to have inflated demand due to 'trade downs' being in demand? Didn't know a trading type could have demand but oh well. Just persevere, but if it gets a bit much, put on pause, dont hunt them out and wait til they come to you xD

Ahh, store pet hoards... Advertise everywhere and hope people come to you xD I have 3 non list store hoards xD they do not too bad
