Sighing, the lilth silver tabby stepped out of the warrior's den and looked out apon the morning sky. The faint sound of coughing reached her ears from the medicine den. She felt bad for all the cats whom were sick. Moongleam was lucky enough to not be one of the cats who have fallen victim to grrencough. Deciding to make the most of the time when she wasn't sick, she padded out of the camp and into the forest. Moongleam parted her jaws to let all the scents around her waft into her mouth. She pressed her toungue to the top of her mouth to trap and taste every scent. The scent of a bird caught her attention and she quickly lowered herself to the ground despite not knowing where it was. She fallowed the scent staying so quite that you couldn't hear her if she was right next to you. Moongleam lunged forward with all her might and landed square onto the bird's back. It was a lucky guess but she managed to caculate it correctly. The she-cat quickly killed the bird and headed back to camp. Instead of putting the bird in the fresh kill pile, Moongleam set the bird down at the enerance of the medicine den.

Foxpelt's eyes shone, filled with pride. She looked down to see that most of the clan was missing, dealing with the outbreak of green cough that she somehow hadn't noticed. She heard that Brokenstar lost two lives, and her eyes widened. She would perform to her duty as a warrior and help the sick, even if it meant she got sick as well.

Rainwing heard all the coughing. She looked around camp and saw all the violently sick cats. The young queen feared for her kit's lives. She picked them up by the scruffs and rapidly went over to Willowshade. 'Willowshade, I think... May I leave camp and find somewhere else to stay? I do not want my kits getting greencough, Maybe... Maybe all the healthy cats could come and we could have a temporary home.'

Swiftheart was oblivious to the clamour in camp as he went through the territory, calling Mistypaw's name.

Sandpaw coughed a little. It wasn't too bad, just minor. She stared around camp in fear at Icewhisker and other cats being so ill.
