My work-in-progress species is having a MYO event! All you need to do is join the group and comment on a jounral and you can get a free MYO! Just go here. Also, I'm looking for artists! If you're interested in applying, you just need to show me some of your designs. Go here if interested!

Alright so I seriously need some help with my species, Pondhoppers! Please PM me if you can do any of the following:
- Create a logo
- Draw items (would be simple, like a blank copper coin! I need lots done but they don't have to be done by the same person.)
- Draw a lineart for the species (I need a baby and adult lineart! Don't have to be done by the same person.)
- Draw the group's avatar (would have to be small obviously)
- Help me with coding (you wouldn't actually code anything, I'm just clueless and don't know how to center things in my journals and stuff)

We can discuss payment through PM, I can pay in DA points, CS stuff, stuff from the species, art, FR stuff, or characters (definitely here, maybe some from here).

And I'm looking for names for this babe who I got in a monthly design exchange for October. She was designed/drawn by rockosaur. She reminds me of the ocean (dark blue is water, green is seaweed/aquatic plant, etc.)

What do you think of people who have very high prices for commissions - i.e., $60 for a sketch, and up to $500 for a ref sheet? (I have found someone like this recently who's art is the best I've ever seen, but I'm not sure if it's worth it?)
Well, I don't think nothing of it. If that's what they want to charge then they should charge it. If you think the artist is worth it than buy it/ save up and buy it. Artist want to be paid for their work and if that's the price they set it at than that's how they feel that want to be charged for their work.

If someone has gone inactive and asks you not to trade what do you do, I no longer want the character, can i trade it or give it away?
I'd send them a note / PM telling them who would you be gifting it to. That way if they suddenly do become active again and still want that rule in place it's not that much of a hassle to get back. However, if you trade it then it might be a little bit more messy, but overall as long as you let them know I think it should be okay.

What closed species is currently your favourite and why? Do you own adopt(s) from it? Show us if you do!
I like Jolly Raptors and Pouflons, but sadly I don't have adopts from either
