only trouble is, i don't have any trustworthy neighbors to leave my cat with.
the only neighbors i actually know, do own a cat but he is an un-neutered male and he's basically
the owner of the whole neighborhood. and i had a bad experience with them last time i had a pet-
my first pet(s) were some neon tetras... which i found when i came back their fish tank dirty, and a horrible film over them... but let's not go into detail haha ^^ so i know my family wouldn't go for the camera... too expensive.
we've been considering boarding her so that we have someone to care for her with experience, who will handle her carefully, unlike my neighbors (who also have four children two of which are babies, they don't clean litterboxes & have a dog.) they're just not trustworthy. we have an automatic water dispenser, not so for food.
so i guess, thinking about it boarding/pet sitting would be the best option...
i'm so scared for my baby you know????

I know it can be difficult to leave your cat behind, especially when she means so much to you, but she'll be much better off in a boarding kennel than having to travel to a place she's never been to with people she's never seen. Just take the time to do some research on the boarding kennels in your area. Look up reviews, call them and ask questions, that sort of thing. That way, you can be sure you're leaving her in good hands.

Millie's gone missing. She's been missing since Thursday and has shown no sign of being back. Her food is untouched and her water bowl is still full. We talked to a family who lives near us, Millie hangs out with their cat. Their cat has been missing since Thursday too, I hope they both come back soon, Millie has never gone missing for over a few hours and she always comes back for her food. We've made missing posters, so hopefully they'll bring us closer to finding her.

- Put multiple water dishes in different areas of the house
- Get a stainless steel dish if you currently have a plastic one (plastic dishes can change the taste of the water)
- Try putting ice cubes in the water
- Move the water dish away from the litterbox if it's currently near it
- Buy a cat fountain like Drinkwell

Switching them over to wet food will increase their water intake if they're just eating dry kibble. Cats generally don't have a high thirst drive as they're descended from a desert-dwelling species.
And as already stated, a cycling fountain, a ceramic or metal bowl, and keeping the water away from food and the litterbox if it's not already may get your cat to drink more.

Have you contacted your local animal control or shelters? Maybe someone picked them up thinking they were strays. You could also ask your other neighbors if they've seen either of the cats. Since they both disappeared on the same day, though, it's likely someone picked them up. Best of luck finding them!

We're calling the local ones tomorrow, fingers crossed! Our neighbours are keeping an eye out for her, so chances are high if she comes back, we'll be told, aha. Thank you <3
