The tom nodded and shoved his prey under a nearby bush. He then trotted over to his mentor. "Alright, I'm ready now." Rookpaw announced, trying to sound excited.

Simon-Tags-Open

The golden spotted tom padded across his garden, and pushed through the cat door. He yawned as soon as he stepped onto the slippery wooden floor. His housefolk rushed over and started making worried, purring noises. It picked him up and stroked him. "Okay, okay, I get it! You missed me!" Simon growled under his breath, even if his housefolk couldn't understand him. The tom was quickly put down and he went over to his food dish. Suddenly, the pellets did not seem very appetizing. I wish I could hunt and eat prey without getting in trouble by my housefolk, He thought, glancing back at it.

"You're right, Firefoot and the other cats won't be back until he finds Orchidkit. Well, do you mind organizing patrols? It's not hard and I'm going to make an announcement to the clan later about this. I will choose a cat to be deputy until Firefoot comes back." Patchstar said as he looked at Seaheart. He shifted as he sat in the medicine cat's den.

"Great, come on!" Spottedeye mewed excitingly. The sun was coming down, but she thought it was better to hunt at night since there may be more prey coming out. She lightly jogged out of camp. "We're doing some training for fighting before hunting." She mewed to Rookpaw.

She purred in excitement, her heart beating faster at the thought of organizing the patrols. "Okay, thank you Patchstar!" Seaheart exclaimed, rushing down to the middle of camp to get together the groups.

Rookpaw-Tags-Spottedeye

The black and white male cat nodded, even though he felt like curling back up in his nest. Following Spottedye seemed to make his paws ache. His eyes were looking at things around him instead of focusing on what he was supposed to.

Simon-Tags-Open

He watched the sun go down out through the window, sighing with content. Maybe I'll go into the forest tomorrow morning, Simon considered. The tom had a boring rest of the day, just snoozing in his bed and watching the birds. His housefolk had locked his cat door, so therefore he couldn't go back out. I probably won't ever be able to go back out ever again.The golden cat thought sadly, letting his head droop onto his paws.
