Eagle looked at the female cat and shook his head, since he knew how to hunt on his own. "N-No thank you..i hunted a while ago, so i think im alright for now." He lightly smiled, showing her that it was alright. He looked yonder and saw the camp, scared and shivering a bit.

Mintstripe perked his ears as he heard Dewstorm's howl echo through the camp. He whipped around and sprang out of the den and started pelting towards the nursery. Catching his breath, Mintstripe panted, "What's wrong, Dew-" he froze as his eyes were drawn to Leafkit.
"Oh, Dewstorm, I'm so sorry..." whispered Minstripe as he checked the kit for its pulse. It was cold as stone, and the scent of death clug around the air. He gasped as Leafkit's paw rolled in front of him, and two bitemarks were revealed on the small kit's pad.
"Snake..." mumbled Mintstripe.
"It was a snake... Dewstorm, Swancreek, get out!" He howled as he heard something rustle next to an empty nest. He leaned down and snatched up the limp Leafkit and pressed himself to the bramble wall to let the two queens escape.

~(Shortened;; Leafkit is bit and poisoned overnight by a snake found in the nursery. The queens are escaping -and just in time-, so attention is needed!)~

I wanted to say something to Dewstorm, try to comfort her, but then Mintstripe yelled at us to get out, not wanting us to get bitten by the snake as well. I jumped up, and ran as fast as I could out of the nursery, my heart racing with fear.

Fallenstep turned her head towards the commotion at the nursery. Many cats were staring and Fallenstep curiously limped to see what was going on.

The tom was back to his camp, after assisting Riverstar with his lives.
He dipped his head towards Riverstar as he left to do his own.
There was still one fumbling question in his mind; who'd claim the spot
of deputy? He surely wanted to. Having nothing else to do that to retur
n to the warrior's den, he went.

to the nursery; Leafkit had died.

I was shaking with fear where I stood. What would've happened if Mintstripe hadn't found the snake... I started thinking to myself.

Honeystorm|Warrior/Murder|Currently with the Nursery commotion|

H oneystorm perked out of the warrior's den, peering over at the yowls of horror. She may be corrupted, but she loved Dewstorm.
"Dewstorm, what's going-" Leafkit's limp body was in her mouth. "S-snake." Dewstorm murmured. Honeystorm gasped. "I'll get it." She hissed, swaying her tail, she slid into the nursery, against every ones words. She looked around. A small hissing noise came from behind her. She whipped around to see a brightly colored snake. She hissed and dived. The snake tried to bit her but failed. She grabbed the snakes tail and swung it around. She snake squirmed around and Honeystorm dropped it. Blood dripped from it's tail and it retreated into a small hole, in which it came through. I may be a murder, but no one messes with my sister.


Dewstorm|Queen|Currently At The Nursery Commotion|

D ewstorm stared blankly into the stars. Was Leafkit up there with her brother? Honeystorm emerged from the nursery with blood on her. Dewstorm just opened her mouth to speak when Honeystorm interrupted. "It's not mine." She explained. "The snake came through from a hole. It retreated, but it should come back. We need to somehow find a way to block it." Honeystorm mewed. Dewstorm looked down at her dead kit. "I lost both of them." She whispered.= "I failed being a mother."

Poppypaw bristled instantly with fear. No! "Dewstorm..I'm so sorry!" was all she could muster. She was horrible at comforting her clanmates. Or, she always felt like she was.Maybe it's a good thing she's dead now when she's a kit. It's better than her living til everyone loves her and dying as an apprentice getting bitten by a snake or falling in a hole or eating death berries, right?
