Poppykit pushed herself agenst her father. "if that happened to me would mommy say that to me?" She spoke softly and shook.

Poppykit pushed her face into her fathers fur crying.

``. . . Maybe you're right. I am wrong. I shouldn't have had those kits. I shouldn't have fallen in love with Mousestar. My life is a mistake.`` She padded off, grumbling under her breath. Her tail snaked through the entrance and she was gone.


Hailkit curled up.

Bluekit's was a heap of fur in the corner.

Mousestar picked Poppykit up by the scruff, setting her down inside his den. "Stay here, Poppykit" He nudged a moss ball over to her. "Play with this" He bolted out of his den and behind Ashrunner, catching up with her. "Ashrunner..."

"How dare she!" Tinykit meowed, nuzzling into him. She lifted her head to look out at Ashrunner. "just ignore her. She should love you no matter what you look like! I still lo-" she stopped herself short, even if Ashrunner said they were siblings, they were not. Tinykit did have feelings for little Hailkit.

Ashrunner whirled. ``Stay away from me! I'm leaving.``

Hailkit pressed against Tinykit, the warmth of her fur calming him.

Reedheart left the wound on his nose and padded into the Nursery seeing how Hailkit was and sat down beside him, trying to calm himself from the shock of a mother saying that about her own kits, her mate, it hurt him for some reason too.

Duskpelt was amused by all this and started to exit the camp after Ashrunner, as he was still in pain and being a rouge, he knew all the hardships he had to overcome and was going to try talk to her not caring if he knew her or not.

Poppykit was now in the nursery crying her ears flat agenst her head. She walked over to the other kits and layer down abandoning the moss ball.

"Shh... Hailkit. I still think that you are handsome. She is a fox for calling you that. A fox!" She softly meowed. her eyes were shining, although he couldn't see them.
